The owner, Sathya, quickly answered my call and then escorted me into the salon. I ended up being a few minutes late because I was "lost" but Sathya did take me and after a quick discussion as to what I was looking for quickly had me seated and started. She was very personable and had her young daughter there as I was the last appointment of the day. She was professional and efficient and in 15-20 mins was done tidying up my brows (which were suffering from neglect as I have not regularly seen someone since moving to Frederick). She has a mirror to let you check her work but I did not need additional clean up (which I'm sure she would have done). Threading is not painless and she checked before she started that I had threading done previously so I knew what to expect. All in all quick and painless process. Scheduling was a breeze as was payment afterwards.

Poojah (spell check the name) is the Tech/Manager at this branch. It's safe to say I adore her and her skills. I showed her the pic I usually showed new Techs and after a consultation of my own brows, she directed me on how we could achieve the look. I've had 'brow techs I've reviewed on how gentle their service was but! Nothing prepared me for Poojah's skills! About five minutes in, I saw her bringing a mirror for me to check and was taken back because I didn't realize she was finished. I FELT NOTHING. I barely felt her hands around my 'brow area and I thought the consultation was still happening. If pain is your deterrent for getting your 'brows threaded, I encourage you to give Poozar (and I'm assuming any other branches owned by Rhea) a chance. Plus she's so kind! The shop is clean and had a faint scent of burning incense (love that!) December 31st 2024 and my thread cost $15. Booking through Yelp, seamless. I even got my loyalty card so ya know... I was embarrassed and it ruined an outfit I was wearing being all my shoes and sandals were completely open toe. It looked ridiculous and should have never happened. So the rest of my vacation I had to walk around that way. I called them from my vacation and told them what had happened and made a appointment for them to fix it when I returned from vacation. Once I arrived to have them re done they were not apologetic at all but laughed saying that their setting dryers weren't charged that day and with the gel it didn't set right that's why they just slide off. What was the joke? I looked like an idiot on my vacation and it's funny? I also asked for flowers on each of my larger toes and the girl couldn't even do a simple flower correctly it was all blended together like a blob. I do not recommend them at all.

Eyebrow threading is only $15 and she really took her time. My appointment was with dhaka she was amazing and super nice. Its a clean place inside phoenix salons and easy to find their suite is the first one on the left. Even though this spot is a 45 min drive from my house, i will definitely be coming back!
