Finding an upstanding tomato at the supermarket is practically impossible. And fresh tomato slices sprinkled with pepper round out what I consider the quintessential summer supper. Slicing into a dry, pink tomato devoid of moisture purchased from Kroger makes me sad.
Today I traipsed through the Sweet Auburn Curb Market in search of lunch as well as an acceptable tomato. The tomatoes at Curb Produce beckoned me with their luscious crimson skin, bursting with enormity.
