We eat out often and everyone in our party cleaned their plates. This is a great compliment. However, the bread pudding was too dry and could not be rescued by the scoop of ice cream on top. Brought the bread pudding home with me, made a sauce and all is perfect with the world. Poach Social atmosphere was perfect this morning. Will return soon.

We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

I've tried several barbecue restaurants over the years, and this one definitely stands out! The restaurant is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed right along the Beltline. You start by choosing your sides, then your meats, and finish with your sauces. There's also a dedicated bar and plenty of space to relax, giving it a fun, laid-back atmosphere. I ordered a half-pound brisket sandwich with potato salad, collard greens, and beef tallow fries. Everything was excellent. The potato salad had the perfect tang, the collards were flavorful, and the fries were outstanding. I went with their secret barbecue sauce, and I also discovered how good pickles and onions are with barbecue. I'll definitely be doing that again. My friend ordered nearly the same meal but added the pulled pork and mac and cheese. Both were excellent. My only con were the ribs. Mine were a little tougher and drier than expected, but they came from a different slab than my friend's, whose ribs were much more tender. I think my slab must have been in the smoker tad too long but it happens... Overall, I'd definitely recommend Lewis Barbecue. The food, atmosphere, and overall concept make it well worth the visit. Just be sure to get there early if you want the Friday Beef & Cheddar special because it was sold out by the time we reached the counter, and I'll definitely be back to try it. First when you enter, you have a chance to peruse the board to prepare yourself for the upcoming stations. The staff explained very really well and were all quite friendly. My daughter and I sampled the brisket and were sold with the juiciness. We got a chopped brisket sandwich, sliced brisket sandwich and hubby opted for the turkey sandwich. Pleased to have green beans and greens without pork (or any meat) that were nicely seasoned. The mac and cheese was ok if you like yours more creamy than baked. We'll be back!

This is actually my second time going to Jeni's ice cream store after my initial one in Columbus, Ohio. For fun fact, the ice cream shop started in Ohio (surprise). Anyways, there were so many flavors you can't get from the Whole Foods, which is another reason why you should come check this place out! It will make you feel better in this already hot summer weather of May.
