I am truly grateful to have found CuraDebt. Before I found this company on line I felt truly hopeless. I didn't think there was any way out of my debt. I had bill collection companies calling everyday and each one calling multiple times a day. I felt harrassed and cornered. I was getting a little suspicious of my current debt management company. When I looked closer I noticed that they paid themselves more than they paid my creditors. Although they negotiated 3 settlements for me, the amount they paid themselves, and the amount they paid towards my negotiated settlements was approximately 50 percent to themselves and 25 percent to my negotiated settlements, and 25 percent to ???...frustrated, I did research, contacted Jeremy M. (CuraDebt), who is a financial guru, to say the least. He helped me go through my creditors, and get on track. I received a phone call from Caroline (Customer Service), who is so kind and compassionate, through her I got in touch with my law group, made an appointment and completed POAs. CuraDebt has been absolutely amazing and Deborah has topped it off. This turned from me calling and asking for help into an amazing person ensuring the only questions asked were what else can I help you with? Everything was explained in detail, nothing was hidden and if I couldn't meet certain aspects she ensured they adjusted instead of me struggling. She offered above and beyond what I thought was available and an option without me ever asking. I had difficulties with a previous company and was highly skeptical but after Deborah and CuraDebt I was satisfied and believe in the process. We had CuraDebt assist us with out debt consolidation approximately 4 years ago. I had lost my job due to downsizing at my workplace, my husband had been forced into retirement prior to that and was told his pension was going to be reduced by approx. 30-60%. However, we are still in fear of that, but with almost no credit card debt, thanks to curadebt. They worked with us, set up a payment plan affordable to us, to pay off cards. The hardest part was all the calls we got from creditors as you have to let cards go to way over due status, which we never let happen prior to this. That was difficult, but we pushed through with much reassurance from our negotiators. We have now paid it all off, and huge kudos to Gloria, that got us started on our path to debt relief. We had several negotiators who were very knowledgeable about things. Would I do it again? Most definately if I was in the situation we were in at the time we started. Friends told me to not worry about my debt, I was told that it would all go away in 7 years and without paying a penny (worse advice). I had called National Debt Relief and their information about getting you out of debt seemed a bit shady since they tell you that they will settle you for 50% of your original debt but they can't even guarantee any of that so what's the point of throwing you that information? Curadebt saw us through our entire incident with the IRS. Every time the IRS cancelled our payment plan (at least once a year!) curadebt handled them and had it Re-instated. Before hiring them we would spend hours on the phone either on hold or explaining to a random agent what the problems was and getting different answers each time.
