In 2003, I was laid up for 2 weeks at home with bronchitis. When I saw a new internist in 2008, he recommended that I see Dr. Jacobson, because of the numerous sinus infections I was continuing to experience. Since I saw Dr. Jacobson he had provided me with the right treatments that let me live a life without concern of asthma and allergies for over 15 years. It has been life changing for me. Under Dr. Jacobson's care I ran 13 marathons and rode my bike hundreds of miles each year. I never experienced any breathing problems. Dr. Jacobson's practice has a boutique feel to it. He takes whatever time is needed to provide a diagnosis and gives me all the time that I need to ask questions. He thinks outside the box, does whatever research is necessary, and develops innovative solutions to help me get well. Dr. Jacobson was able to have tele health visits with me that saved me from taking time off of work and he was genuinly interested in helping me. Sometimes, he would get backed up with other patients but he always made time to call me with updates on ct scans and lab work. He went above and beyond what I have come to expect from doctors. They check on ill patients with follow-up phone calls, make excellent referrals, and treat patients with respect and care. They have late in the day hours and weekend hours. Because it is a small, independent practice, I've had some issues with getting an on-call response after hours. Dr. Sassetti herself is loved by my whole family. She's warm, interested, straight up with what's going on, and seems to remember and care about each of us.
