My friend and I both got mango margaritas on the rocks, but somehow mine tasted way better (more mango-y and I requested Tajín on the rim while hers seemed watered down. Guess it depends on your bartender). They had darts in the back, and a DJ in the front with upbeat music, and tons of board/card games (though some boxes looked a little worn and like they could be missing a few pieces). Didn't try the food, but everything I saw looked good. Also loved that you can walk in and out, making it easy for smoke breaks. Overall, great vibes, fun games, and a perfect hangout spot. There were positives: the venue has a lively vibe, and it can be a nice place to meet friends, grab drinks, and enjoy the energy. However, the overall experience felt inconsistent. Service and attention to customers could be improved, especially during busy periods, and some parts of the visit did not feel as organized or welcoming as they should. For a lounge, the details matter: prompt service, clear communication, clean surroundings, and staff who make guests feel comfortable. Tomkat Lounge has potential, but it would benefit from more consistency in those areas. I would consider returning, particularly with friends, but I hope management continues improving the service and overall customer experience.

A friend of mine is a Cerritos local, and this was our second visit. First and foremost, the staff was amazing. The gentleman working the front door was incredibly polite and welcomed us with a smile, even wishing us a great time as we walked in. The two bartenders were outstanding. Unfortunately, I didn't catch both of their names, but their level of customer service was exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the night. For food, we ordered the lumpia and the pepperoni flatbread pizza. Both were absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend trying them. We also enjoyed a couple of ice-cold beers. I ordered a glass of water as well, and my water was refilled almost immediately every time it was empty--a small detail that really stood out. The DJ kept the atmosphere fun and lively, and we were able to catch the MMA fights on their multiple flat-screen TVs, which made the experience even better. My buddy Jason says this is the best dive bar in Cerritos. After this visit, I'd have to agree. In fact, the customer service we received here was better than what I've experienced at many upscale, "bougie" establishments. Outstanding food, excellent drinks, incredible service, and a great atmosphere. Job well done, Shipmates! I'll definitely be back.

It was nice that this wasn't strictly an adults-only environment, as we were able to bring our child along and still enjoy the experience. The food was good, the service was great, and the overall setup made for an enjoyable afternoon of soccer. We'll definitely be back during football season to catch a few games.

This meal was an absolute feast. Before we even ordered, our…read moreserver brought out waters and a bowl of cabbage salad for the table. It's a small gesture, but it immediately made us feel welcomed. We decided to go with one of the combo meals, which came with boneless crispy fried chicken, cheese tteokbokki, and fried potstickers. We also added an order of corn cheese because... how could we not? The chicken lived up to the hype. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a sauce that had me licking my fingers without shame. The cheese tteokbokki was exactly what I was hoping for. Chewy rice cakes swimming in a rich, spicy, cheesy sauce that kept me coming back for another bite. The corn cheese deserves its own paragraph because wow... I understand why Korean restaurants serve this. Sweet corn covered in gooey melted cheese is one of those dishes that sounds simple but somehow disappears before you realize it. The fried potstickers rounded everything out nicely and added another crispy bite to the meal. And because apparently we hadn't eaten enough, we finished with Dippin' Dots for dessert. It was such a fun way to end the meal and brought back a little childhood nostalgia. Overall, the portions were generous, the food came out hot, and the whole spread looked as good as it tasted. This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to whenever the Korean fried chicken craving hits.
