It is located in the heritage center.Upon entering I was made feel very Welcome. I was handed a menu and my drinks order was taken. I ordered the Irish Breakfast. It was absolutely delicious and was just perfect! Definitely no complaints from me. The toast was made perfectly. The staff always make sure you are taken care of. I ended up going to Sheila's Coffee & Cream at least four times during my stay in Ardara. I also tried their desserts, scones and toasties . Everything tasted amazing! The staff are all professional, kind and genuinely care about their customers. Sheila's Coffee & Cream rates Five Stars and more! It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, lived in the United States for over thirty years and served in the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know a great Coffee Shop from all my travels and life experiences. I definitely will return to Sheila's Coffee & Cream in the near future. This establishment rates five stars and more! A must visit when in Ardara!

I can therefore recommend the seafood chowder at Toni's Bistro which comes with a huge doorstep of bread and makes a really filling lunch for around 5 Euros (May 2009). There are power points to plug in your laptop and the staff are friendly too.

I didn't think much about it thinking it was raining outside, so who knows if that had something to do with her less than desirable mood. Next day, we were in DT again and my hubby suggested we go back to Toni's for the good coffee. Back we went along with my father who is on crutches. You would think the blonde (unfortunately I never got the name, but she's the one with the hair so severly pulled back on her head that it makes her face look like she's somewhat constipated...sorry). Anyway, she never bothered to greet us or made any attempt at recogizing us from the day prior even though my husband announced..":BACK AGAIN for the coffee". She came to take our order and was so rude practically exiting the table in the middle of the order taking as it seemed she had something else more significant to do. Whatever food my father ordered was simply terrible -- as I recall, it was pork chops the special that day. The presentation too is pathetic!!! But the most notable take away I got from our experience was that this lady's attitude needs to change if Toni's are hoping to remain in business. If I were the owner (to blame also), I would make sure to talk to my employees/manager and review proper ettiquette when it comes to dealing with customers and emphazing the importance of greeting paying clients coming thru the door with a smile and saying Thank YOU upon exit. Or at least some half assed attempt at saying good bye.. "thank you for coming in today"! It's really sad that little old Ireland given the dire financial/unemployment straits it finds itself in these days, and the hopefullness to persuade folks to come there for "The Gathering", cannot seem to get the basic things right when it comes to simple gestures and appreciation for folks who are keeping their establishment in business. I mean, seriously, I would absolutely never set foot in Toni's again and certainly not while the "clock stopper face" is there. Next day however, we found ourselves back in the town yet again and hungry, and were very pleased with the service and food received at The Blueberry. Those folks know how to be pleasant to their customers. Toni -- please encourage the "clock stopper face" to frequent the Blueberry and take some notes. In fact, it would do her the world of good to spend a week there so she can get fully clued in about proper customer service. And also, have her read some self-help books as it is very effident that she is mega UNHAPPY with what she does for a living. Good Luck!! I hope Donegal Democrat start writing articles on such appalling service so visitors know which establishments to avoid vs. the ones which deserve business.
