I am an avid Culver's consumer. Every city I go to - I have to get to their Culver's. All great, until I got to Lincolnshire Culver's. I e cold burger with cold cheese set on it and a hard bun. I simply asked them to warm it up and the manager came out to tell me...it's not our process to service it hot with melted cheese. If you want that, that was a special order you should've asked for. OMG...never heard of something so ridiculous. Young male manager. Avoid this Culver's if you want warm food. Absolutely crazy. See pic for cheese. read more

Service was good, milkshake was good, but the foods were really bland and small. Sourdough melt was disappointing, very bland, like not even salt, and they forgot the cheese. Fries were small, everything was small, and so considerably expensive for $7/8 dollars per sandwich. The good thing about this place is that you can customize your shake. We mixed root beer with brownies, which was delicious, though need spoon to eat the brownies at the bottom. Brownies were soaked in with root beer icecream flavor. Would come back just for custard and shakes and nothing else as food was very plain small and expensive. read more

I have only been here once and that too just to get their frozen custard concretes because I had a buy one regular size concrete, get one free deal. I got good service and my concrete tasted pretty good. The two kinds of concrete I got were made with their Flavor of the Day on the day I visited and it was Butter Pecan. For one concrete, I got peaches and marshmallow cream as the mix-ins and for the second one, I got pumpkin sauce and salted caramel as the mix-ins. Both turned out to be tasty. My favorite was the pumpkin sauce and salted caramel one. Note: this place charged extra to get the pumpkin sauce as a mix-in. The Mundelein location did not do that when I got a concrete there with the pumpkin sauce. I was charged extra for something else too without being informed but after talking to the manager, they reimbursed me that other extra charge because per the manager, that shouldn't have happened. Anyway, overall, I had a good experience and I would go back here. read more

On Tuesday, I went there and clearly my order was overlooked (missed after paying for it) and I waited in the drive thru for over 15mins, all while every single car behind me received there order. Juan and Drew went out of there way to correct the mistake and make me feel valued as a customer. Thank you to them, they are great leaders! Talk about service. Everyone at Culver's is so darn friendly and helpful. Gives me warm, fuzzy midwest vibes. My coworkers and I leave in a better mood than when we walked in; it says something about an establishment (a fast food joint at that) that can give you the feels. Cheese curds are a signature item at Culver's. My fries each time were hot and crispy. Their burgers are also fresh (not frozen,) and the chocolate strawberry frozen custard they gave samples of was delish. Added to our list of lunchtime rotators. read more

It's tough to give a fast food place 5 stars - but Culver's comes close. Out of all of the fast food joints around, Culver's is my family's favorite. There's a reason the Butterburgers are well known. I'm guessing the "butter" part of the burger meals low-cal, right? And the burgers are specifically made to order, so you actually get what you WANT on the burger and not something pre-made. Although I must say I'm always amazed at how often I've heard folks ordering the fish sandwich. Guess I'll have to try that someday. Great crinkle fries - meatier than other places with a crispy outside. And good grief, whatever you do, don't forget to get the custard. What? You say you don't know what custard is??? Clearly you have never visited Wisconsin then. Custard is a ridiculously creamy version of ice cream. You will never go back. All other frozen treats will pale in comparison. The one thing we particularly LOVE about Culver's is how well they train the staff. If you or your kiddos have a food allergy or are gluten free, they know how to handle the food. My son has Celiac. All we have to do is mention it and we know it will be handled by the kitchen and staff properly. They have gluten free buns and put the burger in its own box. It's also always delivered in its own bag, and he's yet to be glutened there. A BIG thumbs up for the general training. read more

It is becoming one of our fav local fast food places that definitely does not taste like ...fast food. We live close by - a short drive and food is ...just made and hot when we start our dinner. My wife just declared it her favorite Friday night fish dinner take out place. Yes - cod dinner is simply delicious and consistently fresh after multiple visits. What is even going on at this Culver's? I've been here 3-4 times, and I can think of something that was wrong with the order every time. Last time it was that I ordered onion rings with my meal, instead of fries. Boyfriend and I actually argued on the way home, because I was suffering from butthurt, because I really wanted the onion rings. We figured maybe it was because of how the order was rung up, that if it's turned into a meal (since I'd initially ordered things separately) maybe the fries overrode the onion ring request. Either way that was something that was wrong. Today the grill was down, so no burger, which was why I drove out 12 minutes specifically for. I'm able to adapt, so I'm like, well, at least I can get onion rings, and did. Seemed a little meager, but they were still delicious. Also ordered a concrete mixer, and I coulda sworn I ordered the Reece's Pieces, but wound up instead with the cups. Since I couldn't get the burger, figured I'd get some chicken tenders to share with the dog. They asked what kind of sauce I'd like. I asked what my choices were. They rattled off an admittedly impressive list of sauces, I requested the honey mustard and horseradish. I get home and I am look at 3 traditional steak sauce packets..... It's not terrible, but it seems like sloppy or lazy service. The folks are nice enough. If you like to gamble or play roulette with your order, definitely something to try. read more

Just tried the fish and chips dinner and the shrimp basket. Great taste and value. The vanilla custard was good. The salted caramel tastes like a slightly sweeter vanilla. Bread roll with the meal was stale and cold. Coleslaw was excellent. All in all a great place with fantastic staff. read more

For fast food, this place is great. Everything I've tried on menu is really good. Recently I even tried the veggie burger, which wasn't bad at all, so happy to see them offering it. The kids menu is priced well and includes fries or applesauce and a sundae with topping of choice . Be careful though, the coupon for the sundae is in the food bag and we accidentally threw one away. read more

Recently started doing business right down the street, hadn't been to a Culver's in years, and decided to stop in. Everything was hot and fresh, but more noticeable was the service. Even though it was a very cold and blustery December day, an employee still was outside holding the door open. The staff behind counter was equally friendly and they went around making sure you were enjoying your meal and AGAIN to take your trash away. I've been to 5-Star restaurants that could take a page out of this Culver's book in terms of hospitality. Will be back because of the service alone. read more

We ordered catering for a kids birthday party. A tray of chicken tenders and a tray of fries. Everything was ready at my pickup time (5 minutes before actually). They had everything rung up and it seemed like they were just waiting for me. All I had to do was slide my card into their machine, and I was all set. Amazing! I was in and out in less than 2 minutes, with a very helpful employee helping me to my car. They include all the sauces as well as ketchup. Ordering was a breeze too. The GM Stephanie was great. She answered my questions and made sure everything would be perfect. This was our first time ordering catering from a "fast food" place and we were concerned, but everything was so easy and tasty. We always love coming to Culver's in Lincolnshire! My husband and my daughter and myself all get the kids meals which is plenty of food whether you're an adult or child! The burgers are cooked hot and fresh and the fries are crispy and delicious! The desert is always amazing as well! The good thing about Culver's is for the most part whichever location you go to the quality is pretty consistent. The fried fish sandwich is also the best fish sandwich fast food I've ever had! We come here just about every other weekend to pick up dinner. Everything is DELICIOUS. The burgers, cod, cheese curds, fries, Buffalo chicken tenders, sundaes... When I got home with our food tonight, I realized our cheese curds were missing. I called, spoke with a manager, and she offered to run an entire new meal to my house. Someone named Stephanie dropped it off & she was extremely polite and friendly. They also included 2 free meal coupons. This was OUTSTANDING customer service. Honestly, the cheese curds are amazing. They even SQUEEK!!! Also, they're pretty good cold which is amazing. I also NEVER choose chocolate over vanilla, but someone had bought me a chocolate custard as a treat, and it was AMAZING! Definite yes to Culver's read more

It's a well run Culver's, what else is there to say. I now live almost exactly halfway between two Cluver's. This is my second time at this newer location. Only reservation is they didn't put the fish in the middle of the bun, it was all hanging out one side. read more

We were going through the drive thru to get a single scoop of custard, which wouldn't have taken more than a minute to prepare, but they made us wait in the drive thru without responding until 10pm, at which point they told us they were closed and wouldn't take our order. read more
