So...3 times in the last year my order was not correct, items I paid for missing. A fourth time, the grilled sandwich toast was so burnt, my spouse couldnt eat it. Of course - all of these were the result of going through the drive through, and not realized til we were home - 6 miles away. This last time- I decided to actually call the restaurant. I gave them the receipt number and time I was there- and what was missing. He asked for my email address. Stated he was emailing me a coupon for a free meal. Guess what? Never got it. I had to experience the worst in processing of a fast food eatery order ever. after enjoying my drive-thru order in the car, went back in for fries, one small fry, The counter person gave me the number card to wait for fulfillment . After waiting 15 minutes I went back up to the counter to ask what is going on here... The counter person gave me a chip for a free scoop of ice cream and immediately gave me a bag of fries. BUTTER TIME We were on our way to a fun family night of bowling when we needed a butter burger fix. Culver's is the closest thing we have to an In n Out Burger. They use local Midwest beef and its never frozen. You can taste it in the frehness of the meat. The kids meal here is a great deal. We were able to get chicken fingers, apple sauce, milk & a custard dessert all for $4.99. That is a great deal and also a ton of food. I think next time I'm gonna order a kids meal. I got the Culvers Deluxe Burger. Two patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion & a butter grilled bun. I went with no mayo because that saves 100 calories. I really don't need mayo that bad. My burger was cooked perfectly. They really do a great job of putting together a tasty burger. I also loved how easy it was to get served at 4:30pm. We have typically come around lunch time and it takes forever. That is the one problem of getting your food freshly cooked. You might have to wait if there's a crowd but it is worth it. This location has a drive thru, a few tables outside and a large dinning room. So if you haven't had your first butter burger yet, now is the time!!! read more

Idk what it is with this Culver's but every time I go here the buns they give me on my burger are THE OPPOSITE of fresh - stale and sponge looking buns like they almost look wet and re dried again ? Went here last week after not being here in 6-7 months and their buns were once again, not fresh and stale looking. Also I remember last year a worker here asked me if I wanted to donate some of my cash from my order to charity (which was weird since Culver's does not ask about donations) and after saying no loud and clear they just take the rest of my cash and not give me my change back ?! Typical food for Culver's. Lucky today - fries were freshly made. But the one thing I learned today (the hard way) regarding this location is they only give you one sauce pack, unless you ask for more. I use honey for my buffalo tenders, and the honey packet is the size of a tbsp. Not enough at all! So if you're going through the drive through remember to ask for the number of packets you want specifically and check your bag before you leave. read more

We eat at Culvers routinely and typically enjoy stopping while traveling. This Culvers greeted us with dirty bathrooms. (Having dirty bathrooms at 11:am before your lunch rush is pretty bad in my opinion.) Also, I ordered the cheese curds with marinara sauce as I usually do and they took my order without a word. Upon delivering my order they informed me that their particular location does not carry marinara sauce. Had I known this when I ordered I would have ordered something else. Ketchup makes for a lousy marinara replacement. Not cool Culvers. Please make sure your cashiers know the product they are selling. read more

I don't know What happened but all 3 of us had poorly prepared food. We no sooner sat down and Two Butter Burgers and a Ruben arrived at our table. Don't get me wrong, I like prompt service but when your food is suppose to be made to order, you've got to wonder how they did it. Well I think I know. First the burgers were rolled out as thin as 2 pieces of a Flat Rate box cardboard. The edges were totally cooked hard. They tasted like they were microwaved. The fries tasted microwaved, they were chewy, and the Ruben had separate piles of meat, sour kraut, and sauce. You used to get a good juicy burger made to order, not this afternoon. Best Burger I have ever tasted Recently went on a trip to the Chicago area. I had such a great time trying all the delicious food. My favorite place to eat was Culver's. This has to be the best burger I've ever tasted. I've never never tasted anything so juicy and well seasoned. The bun was nice and fluffy. In & Out, Five Guys, etc. really has nothing on this burger. When I eat a burger, I want to taste the meat. I want to taste the juiceness and flavor of the meat. A lot of restaurants forget that and focus on toppings. This place keeps it simple. The french fries were also very nicely cooked. Crispy, yet fluffy. The service is awesome. Everyone was really friendly. The manager also came around and talked to people. The inside looks like it could be a nice sit down restaurant. You order first, and they give you a number, so that they can deliver the food to you. It's a family friendly, clean restaurant. It's also very affordable. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try the custard. Next time. I look forward to eating here again. read more

Culvers, in general, has pretty good food. Greasy, but good. I don't usually get the frozen custard, but it's alright. I love the burgers. Even the fries are fresh and hot. I went through the drive through tonight and ordered what I normally get, the man taking my order was so rude it's disgusting I'm never going back and on top of it he charged me for 2 4piece Buffalo tenders. I asked for one I was wondering why the price was so high I knew it was wrong because I used to work at a Culver's... that's why. And on top of it all you didn't give me my sauces I asked for. This is the BEST Culver's I've ever been to. Went here today around noon with my daughter. I planned on drive thru but my little girl wanted to dine in so, into the parking space we went. As we approached the entrance a young man came out to greet us and hold the door open so we can walk in. He proceeded to follow behind and took our order at the counter. He was so polite and all smiles, just a ray of sunshine on this cloudy but pleasant day. Come to think of it, all the young people here were so polite and happy. I'm from cicero and it was such a joy to see. The service was stellar form the young man who took our order to the young woman who brought it to our table. Then I took a bite of my Culver's deluxe and bam! It was soooo good. I regularly go to a Culver's in Berwyn just 1 mile away from home and I can say this Culver's in Antioch is more than TWICE as good. Juicy and flavorful my burger was and my little girl was like this food is so much better that the one by our home(she had the tenders and fries). Their lobby was so clean, big and bright. This Culver's is poorly managed. We stop by a few times a month to get sundaes, despite frequent disappointment. Their sundaes either have a teaspoon of syrup or they're swimming in it -- there's just no consistency with the food or service. Regarding the food, forgot the 2 chills we ordered, had to go wait another 10 minutes in line to get them, then, ordered 4 scoops of custard, given a number to go sit down, when delivered, one of those was wrong... My wife and I both ordered single butter burgers with cheese value baskets. She ordered with everything and I ordered with everything except mayo. Both baskets arrived without any indication as to which was without mayo. So we had to do the look through the sandwich search. Most disappointing discovery was that the cheese on both sandwiches was cold and unmelted. It was just tossed on top of the burger. It had neither seen the grill or microwave. My idea of a cheeseburger is that the cheese and patty have spent some time together with heat. This cheeseburger had experienced no heat between the cheese and burger and so did not qualify in my opinion as a cheeseburger. The fries were okay. I placed a drive thru order. When the employee handed me my credit card back through the drive thru window, she dropped it and my car door couldn't open far enough to pick it up off the ground. She did come out and get it for me... Mistakes happen, that is understandable but waiting for my order in my car took quite a long time. Finally the employee came out to hand me my order. She dropped it on the ground. She didn't say sorry or anything. I checked my food and it was a mess in the bag. Does a good clip of business. Cleanish. 1 HUGE problem. Seems like its always staffed by just 16yr olds. And none more than a week on the job. Its common to have to repeat am order over the speaker (drive thru), and extremely common to have the order in some fashion messed up. Usually not get the specifics right, like ketchup only. But gross errors occur like only 3 burgers when you order 4. To be fair the vast majority of issues happen around the drive thru. We have better luck (not as high a rate of error) inside. read more

We love their reuben sandwich (my husband's favorite) and fish sandwich (my favorite). I think we order those most of all. But, actually, we have ordered all types of food and have been disappointed by any of it. The only thing I have to say is that when we go into the restaurant to order for take it, it takes awhile. I don't think it should take up to 20 minutes to place and receive a take out order. Maybe they are taking care of the drive-thru take out orders first? Regardless, we love this place! read more

Let me preface this by saying that I was a Crew Member and then Crew Trainer for about two years at the Culver's that won the national Crew Challenge (dubbing us the top Culver's in the nation) in 2015. That being said, I know how Culver's should be run, as well as what quality food and good service look like. Craig Culver would be seriously disappointed by this location! Service is terrible - employees are very unfriendly and don't even say "hello" and "thank you!" Incompetent staff. Older male grey haired manager is clueless and has no idea how to effectively run a business. Case and point when your ringing customers and you take an order dont just leave your register and rush off to the iced cream machine without a word to the next customer in line. Rather than wait to to see if he was foing to return we gave up on our ice cream order and left. Inept staff. Wrong orders x 2/3 baskets ordered. Burger was soaked in grease. All this in one visit.
