If, however, you have questions, or need help, just give it up, go to Cavender's and buy a hat off the shelf. I hate to say that, but the current staff and help there just has no love for the craft, or desire to help an old cowboy who needs some guidance. I realize that for whoever is behind the counter, it may be their 100th hat this week, but for many, it may be their first hand made, custom hat.

Connor gave me an overview of what they had. I like the ostrich and gator belts alot. So many colors and shades overwhelming. I went with a black ostrich belt, love it. Connor so knowledgeable, patient and impeccable manners. We came the next day my daughter has an audition for a country singer for a movie on Friday. Jenna spent alot of time with my daughter to assemble an authentic outfit so she will be ready. While my daughter was being helped another employee gave me a cowboy hat 101 class and it was interesting. There is a steam machine that can form ur hat to different looks.
