Tons of items in great shape and beautifully displayed make it so easy to shop. I was in a couple of weeks ago and the summer decor was so cute. Today they were creating a pretty display of items in warm fall colors. The prices are super reasonable which I find so refreshing. There is no price gouging here! The staff is incredibly hospitable. I love chatting with them about all kinds of things. I always leave with a smile because of the sweet lady at the cash register. I will definitely stop in again the next time I'm in town.

Here you will find casual and dressy casual wear, super cute, unique items for kids, and many accessories. If you are looking for something for you or your child that is different than a department store find, stop by and see what the shop offers. Prices are spot on. It's important to remember that boutique clothing provide an opportunity to obtain unique pieces that not everyone in town wi be wearing. This means you might expect to pay a little more. With that said, I thought the prices were extremely reasonable- $28-$60 or so per piece. I noted some necklaces and other accessories for $12. It's worth noting how extremely friendly the owner is. He was super sweet to my girls. His two dogs were in the shop, and he even brought one to my toddler so she could pet her. These are the types of small businesses to support.

On the second visit, with a third friend in tow, we still weren't really acknowledged until we started shopping. As we looked at earrings in the front of the store, one of the salespeople hovered nearby. As we tried to engage with her, she seemed to take on an arrogant attitude about the store and the merchandise. My friends wandered further into the store and as I tried to follow them, she was standing in front of me, obviously looking into my open purse to see if I had stolen any of the earrings I had been perusing. Apparently, I did not give off enough of a wealthy appearance to her. This is abhorrent behavior. I will never return to this store and I hope others don't bother to spend time or money here. There is an obvious discriminatory classism happening here. Heaven forbid I had also been a person of color; she probably would have hit the panic button.

The last time I came she was just just chit chatting with an employee so I'm not sure if that was typical. But on this visit she was very accommodating. Selection: nothing much changed in this category. They've got just an ok array of items... but I did learn that she sells online as well so that explains how she's still in business. I asked the woman behind the counter if I could bring some of my clothing in for consignment. She was very snippy and told me she was "done for the day" this was 4pm. She said I should come back at 10am another day. She had some hair clips on the counter--I was looking for a certain one. I opened the clip and it fell apart in my hand! She watched me open the clip and saw it fall apart. Very discussed she took the clip and did something on her computer/register and threw it away. I looked around and found a Tommy Hilfiger sweater coat. I liked it but didn't want to purchase it because this woman was so rude. I bought it anyway. I will never come back to this store or recommend it to anyone else.This store is nothing special and certainly not worth your time. Instead go north a few miles to Rochester. The New To You consignment shop is wonderful and the women that work there helpful and very friendly. They take your clothing at any time of day and will either donate or give you any clothing they do not want. The shop has been in this location a long time and very organized.
