Dr. Bernhardt is friendly and he explains everything, he always take patients first. He is no body who would give you a medicine even when this would be the easiest solution without discussion an alternative way that would be better for you. Don't get me wrong he is not the one who wouldn't prescribe hard drugs (he really do that) but if there is a better alternative and time to try that first he will suggest that. I like him and i recommend him to everyone, even my parents. *** Nun, wenn Du Deinen Eltern einen Arzt empfiehlst dann kann man wohl sicher sein das er gut ist. Dr. Bernhardt ist genau das und bevor er Dir harte Medikament verschreibt bespricht er mit Dir lieber auch mal eine Alternative. His English is good (much better than my German) but not quite as fluent as I had been expecting. He recommended that I stop the medications that I'd been prescribed in a walk-in weekend clinic, and just rest my injured elbow as much as possible. I was offered a few days off work, which was nice, but after a discussion as to whether it would help my healing (not really), I decided to come to work. The only slightly negative part of the experience was that the receptionist had a slightly terse phone manner. She in fact turned out to be really nice in person, so I guess it was a language thing. Sometimes he was calling in front of me to other doctors to make an appointment for me. 4. He and his team speak perfect english, so you will not experience any language problems. 5. The waiting room was full but after I'd given my details I was seen immediately which was excellent. The doctor I saw was a bit mean - I'm not sure if he was just unimpressed with my drinking accident but he was quite rough with me and hurt me a bit - and then complained about me saying 'ow' in German to the attending nurse, clearly assuming that I didn't understand German However, the nurse (who I conversed with in German afterwards!) was absolutely lovely and did a really good job of bandaging me up. I had been told it would cost 50 Euros but as they had to cut off my ring etc the final bill was 120 Euros (remember to take your health card if you're travelling to Europe) But it was clean, efficient and they sorted my papers for insurance really quickly. Was very impressed overall - you'd never get seen that quickly in England (I had to wait for 2 hours at the walk in health and care NHS clinic I went to to get the dressing changed when I got home - after the hospital refused to see me) and if you went to a private clinic I suspect it would have cost a lot more than £100 and been a lot more hassle.

After that I was always met with other doctors. I have knee problems againIt may be that they performed the surgery very well, but if you do not prepare your patient with the information she needs to take care of the knee in the future the likelyhood that she will have problems is high. I learned nothing about how to care for my condition at this practice. Everytime I went there someone new met with me. It felt like fast food service for bodyparts.

Both Dr. Olivier and his assistant are very nice and caring and always remember who I am even if I only visit every few weeks. I was still having headaches after a few months of treatment but I discussed it with the dr, he tried something new, and now I'm pain free. If you don't speak a word of German you'll be fine here but now as my German is much better we do almost the whole visit without English. The online booking is super convenient and the office is steps from the M3 bus line.
