Horrendous experience. I walked in & was glared at by the owner Sopa. She demanded to know what I…read morewanted, as if though I wasn't there to dine. She pointed me to the dining area. She then approached and said I needed to order as the kitchen was closing. I explained I was ordering via the QR code. She left & came back to say again I needed to order. I showed her that I had ordered & the app was showing me a blank view. She disappeared for several minutes. She was taking phone calls, talking to staff and then out of view. After several minutes, I called out "hello! hello!" She came back & when I asked if my food was on the way, she bluntly shook her head. I asked why not & she told me that they wouldn't make my food as I had not paid. I was offended by this - she had taken one look at me and decided I couldn't afford the food, hence demanding to know what I wanted when I walked in. I told her I have a $3 million net worth, I can afford to pay for food but there's no payment on the app, as I had shown her, already. She ignored me and disappeared for several minutes again. There was a diner sitting next to me who he interjected that she was probably checking where my order was - eating his meal, happily. I told him that that's fine, I just needed her to communicate with me. At this point he said it was her culture. I said no you can't just blame "her culture" for her refusal to communicate and walking off. At this point he started shrieking & shrieking at me, saying how dare I mention my wealth, swearing the F word at me repeatedly, telling me I need a root - misogyny. Sopa joined in by shouting in my face. I asked her to please stop shouting at me, called her ma'am and explained to her that I had attempted to pay but the app didn't allow it. Meanwhile the male customer kept screaming the F word at me over & over again, calling me disgusting and that I want to be curtsied to for having money. I defended myself again by saying that the context was her suggesting I wasn't prepared to pay. Her husband came out and explained the app was third party. Sopa interrupted he and I speaking to give him a long explanation, defending herself and rolling her eyes at my saying I had "a million", leaving out the fact that she accused me of not paying for my meal. When I tried to explain myself, she insisted I let her keep talking. She continued for another several minutes. When it was my turn to speak, she's stuck her hand right up in my face and yelled over me. Sopa then followed the customer out, giggling with him and thanking him with her hands folded. She's obviously a bully. I told her husband the comment about my wealth was when she accused me of not paying for my meal and that's why they wouldn't cook it, I didn't appreciate a customer being empowered to scream the F word at me and tell me repeatedly that I needed a root. Her husband pulled out his phone and said he was going to watch the camera. I asked him for the camera had audio and he said yes. Obviously what he saw didn't work in their favour because he started asking me how to resolve this. At this point I did not know she was his wife so I said - it will be resolved if your staff member doesn't walk away from me without talking, doesn't imply I can't afford to pay, doesn't follow behind another customer bowing her hands & laughing as he screams the F word at me and tells me I need a root, and doesn't stick a hand to my face and scream. He told me that she was his wife who owned the business, and tried to guilt me for other customers sitting there. I said in that case, it would be resolved if your wife didn't behave that way. He told me he was trying to "resolve it" and I said I was leaving - but it's not resolving it by replying that this is your wife & she owns the business and guilting me for answering his Q. He became very flustered at being held accountable for defending atrocious behaviour and started throwing me out while I was walking out anyway. He made comments about my attitude - because women mustn't defend themselves against bullies.
