a food truck with menus on the side

This little taco truck has become my latest addiction! Cukis parks just south of the intersection of Decatur and Blue Diamond, behind the Hospital, from about 11AM to 2PM on weekdays BRING CASH BECAUSE THAT'S ALL THEY TAKE! But I promise you won't regret it! Carne Asada Tacos; that's all I have to say. Carne Asada, Onion, Cilantro, Cheese, Corn Tortilla, side of Lime. These tacos are fucking heavenly...And they're so inexpensive! Cuki's also has way more than just tacos, but what are you waiting for? Stop reading this review and go indulge yourself!

    My Shrimp Cocktail

I drove by hundreds of times. It's a Mexican catering truck close for construction workers and unemployed men looking for work. Needless to say I never felt the need to stop, especially since I'm not taking my chances with street food I have heard nothing about, I want to enjoy every meal. My husband is more adventurous for he began to frequent this place about maybe a year ago. One morning after dropping me off at work and tackling a horrendous hangover his usual cure, In N Out was not yet open. He made that left turn on Decatur and Blue Diamond towards Southern Highlands and there he decided to stop at Cukis in desperation! He was so pleasantly surprised. He would not stop talking about it. He got, as he said the most f****** delicious breakfast burrito ever!! He began to go at least twice a week. Sometimes before I was leaving for work in the morning. He started to bring me this shrimp cocktail, that I refused to eat along with everything else he got from there. He would take my 6 year old there every morning, She would always get the quesadilla. They would sometimes eat it there. She loved it there! He began to be well known there, they call him the "Gringo"! Well i broke down and tasted his burrito (and yes it was very very good), and then the tacos also very tasty and fresh. but it wasn't until I had their shrimp cocktail was I so regretting not trying it!! They call it Cocktail de camarones, although I thought it was a ceviche. Whatever it is it's so so good. Fresh chunks of avocado, beautifully clean tasting tomato sauce, crisp tiny onions and wonderful seasonings and cilantro! It's s light yet so satisfying and healthy. I might be wrong but it really seems that they really take a lot of pride in making it!! So in conclusion, I had to share this and put this business on our Yelpy map for they really deserve it! By the way, I haven't personally stopped there myself but my husband tells me their clientele has changed a great deal. Sadly, he is not their only "Gringo" anymore and they are a lot busier. Sorry I don't quite know the hours or days. I'm assuming they are open very early on weekdays and maybe they are done by 5.

a plate of tacos with a pickle on top

I'm very hesitant to post a review on this little truck. We've been going here now for 4 years and it is by far the best el Pastore Taco in this city. I can only hope that it will never change. Every time I'm in Las Vegas this is breakfast for at least 5 out of 7 days. Can't wait to get back. Nice job everybody

    BIG Carnitas Burrito! Must try

Trust me when I say this is best taco truck on the south side of town. If someone knows of a better one please let me know! Don't play yourself and go to the red tack truck that is parked in the same location as Cukis. Cukis is 100 times better with essentially the same menu. Also don't be intimidated they speak both Spanish and English and are very friendly! Do yourself a favor and Grove then a try. My go-to is the carnitas burrito that is always very moist and flavorful and their avocado salsa is to die for!

    Pastor tacos

Located on Decatur and blue diamond.. On the side street.. Every time I crave for tacos I would stop by here to get at least 3 pastor tacos. That's my favorite, tried the beef but don't really like it. Kinda bland and chewy.. Tacos are $1.25 each..I haven't try anything else here beside the tacos..This food truck is always pack. Which means it's good, unlike the truck on the opposite street.

Pollo taco. A little more spice than I had expected.

Super fresh and flavorful tacos. Al pastor was full spice and flavor but not greasy at all. Lengua was beefy and tender. Carne asada was lean and predictably bland for those with tamer taste buds; My 3 year old loved it though and ate two tacos before I even sat down. 4 salsas to choose from, all very different flavors and with varying heat levels. Next time will try the mulas and coctel de camarone - saw someone else order them when I was there and they looked awesome. Should be noted they have breakfast items and hamburgers, sandwiches, chips, sweets, drinks, etc available too.

    Two tacos. Carnitas and asada

Just found this spot while dropping my son off at daycare. Seriously the best tacos I've had in Vegas.

Asada and carnitas tacos. Salsas are super good

Did they move, and does anyone have their number?

When turning South on Decatur (at Blue Diamond), there's a road where you will turn left (there isn't a turn lane) that's goes behind the hospital. Cuki's is the white food truck parked on that street!

Tried looking for this truck today?Where are you usually located at?

It is on Decatur south of Blue Diamond, on the east side of Decatur

Hands down one of my favorite and most affordable taco spots!…read more It's located next to a busy plaza so parking can be quite difficult They're open daily 10am-2pm. Definitely recommend going when they first open because otherwise it doesn't matter the time or day of the week, the lines are extremely long! Love how spacious the restaurant and how organized it is! Once inside the restaurant, there are several lines and you just line up according to which meat and item you want. The longest lines are definitely the asada and adobada (pork)! Once you reach the front of the line, you just tell the staff which and how many of the item you want, as well as any customizations to it. After you get your order, you just head to the cashier line and paying is so easy and convenient! Pricing is reasonable. - Tacos, tostadas, taco aztecas - $4.12 - Sopes, quesadillas, vampiras, & mulas - $7.54. - fries with meat - $22.18+ - soft drinks - $3.31 Arrived at 11am on Sunday and it was already super crowded. Stood in the asada line for at least half an hour but the wait was so worth it! Got 3 Asada Tacos and the tortilla was so soft, hot, and fresh. It was stuffed with plenty of tender beef! The beef was packed with flavor and marinated so well! The pico de gallo was so delicious, as well as the salsa and guac. The Horchata was ok and nothing special since it wasn't made from scratch like the phenomenal tacos! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and my food. Definitely would recommend and return!

Wow this place is overwhelming…read more We came on a Thursday night around 9 pm and the place was packed. Six different lines, and if I hadn't gone with someone who had been before I would have been so bewildered. You're supposed to line up in front of the sign that has what you want on it. The lines are divided by meat type. So if you want some pork tacos get in the adobada line and figure out what you want the pork in--tacos, sopes, mulas, quesadillas, vampiro (not related to vampires, I was disappointed to find), tostadas, or taco Azteca (this took me a while to figure out, it's cactus). And if you want a different meat you gotta line up again in the line for that other meat. I got tacos. The pork comes sliced fresh off the spinny thing that is cooking the meat. Very good. Delicious. I can see why the place is so popular. Would go again.

This location is on the Strip near Paris and on the outside of the mall that has Planet Hollywood. We recommend that you try to get parking in the mall. They say the first hour is free, but ND does not validate However, the slightly cheaper lot across the street currently uses the Metropolis parking app/web service, both of which were unuseable and super frustrating. We saw many other people give up trying to pay and leave and several reviews online for disputed fees for their services when we tried to get help to pay. We happened to go on a Tuesday, which was Cinco de Mayo. We arrived about 2:30 for linner (the meal between lunch and dinner) Consequently, they had a $10 for 3 street tacos and a BOGO for Margaritas. In addition to these specials, we also got their chicken taquitos and friend ice cream. Everything was good, none of it was bad, but none of it was truly excellent. We would order everything we got again. The taquitos were the kind that are larger in diameter and lightly fried. The amount of meat was average, not light or a lot. The guac and cream were runny pre-topped rather than sides. The street tacos were much better quality than the taquitos. We got the filet, chicken, and pork. The chicken was prepared the best as it was moist, well seasoned, and had a good quantity of meat. The quantity of meat on the other tacos was also good, not skimpy at all, but the seasoning and cooking, while good, were not as good as the chicken. We had just had pork steer taco the previous night at the AYCE buffet, which was so much better, but ND's tacos were still very good. The hostess recommended the Hibiscus Margarita when she seated us and alerted us to their specials. It was rimmed with sugar and was a little sweet. The flowery flavor got stronger the further down you drank despite stirring to try to even out the flavor before drinking it. It was just ok, but definitely good enough to get again and to try for the first time if you never had it. Their standard Margarita was very good and definitely wroth getting again. The fried ice cream is not to be mistaken for their fire Carmel ice cream. It is not the actual or standard fried ice cream that places like the Acapulco restaurant make, which are super cold ice cream that is actually fried inside a sugar donut shell and covered with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Rather, ND's fried ice cream does NOT appear to be fried at all, but covered in corn flakes and served with dessert style sweet fluffy tortilla chips covered in chocolate and strawberry sauce--apparently the chips are the fried part. Nevertheless, ND's version is a nice desert, but just not the historic fried ice cream--we would get it again, but might try to flaming Carmel one next time. The highlight of our visit was actually the service. We were seated in the bar area and a blonde woman who seemed to be sharing the bar tending responsibilities with two other women served us. Unfortunately, we do not remember her name, but she was obviously working really hard and did an EXCELLENT job waiting on us. Overall, and except for the parking, which is not ND's responsibility, we had a great visit here, would come back, and would recommend you give them a try. We have had their nachos on our previous visit and they are just ok, but they have a wide variety and the serving sizes are super big--they also pair well with their cocktails.

I asked if they could lower the AC because while I totally understand the ambiance they're going for, once everyone starts eating and drinking it gets hot fast. They were very accommodating and did lower it a bit, which we appreciated. I also loved that they start you off with pico de gallo and chips for the table, and when we asked for more they happily brought extra. Such a small thing but it made the experience feel really welcoming and generous. For food, we ordered the truffle quesadilla, street corn, and the Chicken Parm Mexicana. The truffle quesadilla was SO good and packed with flavor from the mushrooms, truffle oil, and cheese. The street corn was delicious too, and the Chicken Parm Mexicana was such a fun twist on a classic. Crispy chicken, flavorful sauce, and perfectly melted Chihuahua cheese. For drinks, I had the Toca Margarita and loved it. Super fresh and well balanced.
