Cuccina, I went once and sadly, I don't think I'll be returning. I thought it looked rather interesting from the outside, thinking that it's facade was one that would fit in nicely in an Italian town (I say this with a gritter-load of salt!). I, like Susan went only for a quick serving of chips, which were fine, but come on, how hard is it to cook chips.. it's hardly a reasonable benchmark for assessing quality. My boyfirend however had a pizza. As a true expert when it comes to what he likes, he was not overally impressed. Like many samey samey pizza joints these days, he says it'd be hard to differentiate with any of the below par pizzas he had had in the past few months. I had a slice, and I don't see what he was complaining about, it was perfectly fine and edible. But then again, I think after my decision of purchasing chips, perhaps I had a severe case of food envy. The reason I will not be returning in a rush is simply down to the rather daunting manner of the staff. read more
