The next weekend we took a trip pt to the store and were pleasantly surprised at all the selections they had. One thing we liked was although a sales person introduced themselves, they did not walk around with us throughout the store or even huddled nearby as were walked the store. I just don't like having that feeling of being watched throughout our shopping experience. A very large selection of various living room furniture that was divided basically by reclining or not. Let me tell you we have been looking for a comfortable sofa set for over a year, going to all different stores. But we have found a set that was reasonably priced and most importantly: comfortable. Although we got a quote for the set and went home to discuss it, we pretty much had made up our minds that this was the store and that was the set we would buy. Overall experience was great, staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Worst move and worst customer service ever. Salesperson didn't ask enough questions about items…read morebeing moved. They said they would.pack items and when they arrived to pack up items I was informed that it would cost more. So I agreed to pay. The person in charge was rude and ignorant and just blaming me for all the items. The company put the items into storage and I was charged for that, that was fine. Then it came time to have items moved to new location. The man in the office wasn't professional at all telling me the dates and times he could move the items. Not really accommodating me. Then he was rude about the fact I had to arrange funds before the move. Then the items arrived to be moved into storage unit and home. Well pictures were broken, a folk art piece broken, china cabinet damaged on bottom, then come to find out pieces left behind because they decided to put some pieces into another part of there warehouse. No idea why, he gave excuse that the warehouse manager wasn't there to help sort. So I asked to have those pieces delivered, yet again he told me when he was going to do it. I was to be thankful he wasn't charging me for storage. So in the time that passed lost a tv, a new bbq still in box, hardware for putting a bed together, a very large painting, smaller painting done on driftwood, then I was given a tv not even mine. So again I asked him for my things. He said that now I have to file a insurance claim. He was to send out the forms, that was on march 17, 2021. Still no forms, then he said he mails forms every two weeks. Weird business practice. So I started unpacking items. Pieces missing on crystal decanters, crystal bowl broken, a pair of victorian cases damaged. That was only.in three boxes much more to unpack. These people don't care about your items and are just rude and ignorant. I think the man in charge should be fired and if he is the family man running this business should be shut down permanently. Never never never do business with these people I paid over $3000.00 for a move from ct to rhode island.

She was incredibly helpful, and we ended up being lucky to choose an in stock table and chairs to start out with. Gina helped in the selection of umbrella and with the ordering of matching chair cushions which were custom made. We then ordered a matching counter height table with four chairs and cushions that had the same fabric as the umbrella. The wait was long due to supply chain issues, but Gina kept us updated regularly. When summer of 2022 came, and we still did not have our 2nd table, she cancelled our original order and expedited the same product with another manufacturer. We were able to have the full complement of furniture we wanted on our deck for the celebration of our son's marriage in August. Thanks to Gina!

We chose a great set and can't wait to enjoy it for years to come. When we got home, I realized I forgot to take a photo of the set, so I gave Gina a call and she texted a couple right over. So much so, that my young boys have even befriended their favorite Garbage man (Roy), who never forgets to wave to my sons and make their little hearts day every time he picks up our trash. Not once in my 5 years since moving to the area and receiving trash pick up from Sterling Superior have I ever experiences any rudeness in ANY manner or any miscommunications/ missed trash day pick-ups. This company has always been extremely professional, consistently reliable, and quick-to-service with total poise and friendliness! The reason for my review today was due to my completely felt satisfaction upon Sterling's picking up of my family's trash today and my family's shown happiness, as well as our garbage's clean and quick removal per usual, prompted myself to go onto Yelp and finally provide a review that this company deserves after years of loyal service to my household. However, I was in total shock towards these negative and absolutely MISREPRESENTING reviews on here....... I would have to fully and totally disagree with any negative reviews towards Sterling Superior due to my personal experiences being absolutely wonderful and so much so, that I truly felt the need to leave a complimentary review on this companies consistent professionalism, friendliness, and respect towards their work and customers, as well as even my small boys. Thank you Sterling Superior!!!!! :)

I made it clear that I had a lot of large, heavy furniture and I also told them the sizes of the two storage units that I wanted emptied and brought to my new house. I specifically asked if it would all fit and if they would make multiple trips. I was quoted a price for six hours including tax. They did bring most of the large, heavy stuff but took NONE of the boxes. Now I am left to empty half of a 10x25 unit in MANY trips in my car. Not only that, but one of the movers spent a lot of time trying to get out a splinter (using tweezers that I offered) and using the bathroom and the other guy stood around waiting for him. This caused me to be charged for an extra hour. I'm grateful for what they did, but it wasn't as much as I was expecting. I'm older and on a limited budget so I went with the lower priced option because she said they would handle it, but they didn't and now my arthritic knees and back are paying for it.
