    Crossroads is an incredible brand new storage location accommodating motor-homes, boats, vehicles…read moreand many other storage needs. We visited the facility last week and were truly blown away by all the features and the exceptional customer service. They have lots of enclosed units in a variety of sizes, with the largest big enough to store our 45-foot motor-home. The enclosed units have temperature control and their own electrical panels along with coded access. There are also canopy options, which have electrical hook-ups AND fire suppression systems. And the entire facility is surrounded by a high wall, security cameras and storm drainage. In fact, we learned the entire facility has been built to withstand severe weather. Lastly, the owners are wonderful (which was mirrored by the other customers we met last week) - this is a family owned business and you can tell their genuine customer service and communications come from the heart AND the sincere desire to be successful by way of providing a great storage option with excellent service. Pricing options give real value for money and with no flexing. And we were told we can use the wash bay for free. We researched lots of places in the surrounding area and we would absolutely state this is the best option by far. In fact, we've not seen anything like it anywhere. 10/10. Thank you, Dana and Don for the tour! We will be back.

I am writing to file a complaint about U-Haul and its agent Acorn Storage at 337 NE Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, FL 33909 phone number 239-574-9313. They have incorrectly charged me for miles that I did not use, they handed me equipment that they did not note the miles, nor did they even check to see if it was clean. I got back to the origin and when we opened the truck it was full of dirt and chards of broken glass. We have pictures and video to verify what we have said. We booked with U-Haul agent closer to our house. However, they contacted us and asked we rent the truck from another location. This was a local rental and we were going to have to pay the mileage. This new location put an additional 6 miles on the truck. When we finally arrive the woman behind the counter said they did not have the size of truck that we had reserved. They wanted to CHARGE us to get the next larger size! I refused, so they then just upgraded to the larger truck at no charge. Apparently, it was close to closing time as the woman was rushing me through everything. She automatically put the insurance coverage on the truck without even asking me if I wanted it. I had to tell her that I do not want their insurance because I pay for very good insurance which would cover this vehicle in case of an accident. She removed the insurance charge and rushed me to the vehicle. I was so offended by the pressure she was putting on me to 'get out of her hair', that I DID just want to be gone from this place. I got in the truck and drove to our house to begin loading the truck. Upon arrival I opened the back of the truck. To my disgust I saw tons of dirt and broken glass all over the back of the truck. I thought they were required by some regulation or at least a U-Haul POLICY to check the condition of the truck and only rent clean vehicles. We have 3 children and an infant. I had to clean out the back of the truck; I spent my time cleaning which should be included in the price paid! It was not as if we were not already overwhelmed with all the work we had to do in order to move! I swept the back of the truck as good as possible, but I still worry what if I missed some glass and it got stuck in our belongings, or even worse, in our CHILDREN'S belongings! Upon returning the truck we called the U-Haul to tell them of our experience. I wanted to advise that there was NO WAY the miles at pickup were right.. I did not pay attention to the miles at pickup because the representative was in such a hurry to get rid of me. The conversation with the representative was a nice one. I was supposed to receive an email by Wed. 11/15/17, along with a resolution to these issues. Today, Thurs. 11/16/17, I have not heard anything, so I called U-Haul and asked to speak with the manager. The woman put me on hold and tried to contact the manager, Ken Fullmer. After holding, she returned to the line and stated "He refuses to do anything more (I thought... more than a false promised $14 credit that was not ever received??) and will not even take the time to get on the phone and speak with me!! I was very cordial for this entire situation, as bad as it is. Not one time did I lose my temper or be anything but polite to resolve these concerns. But the manager can't even take a minute to hear my concerns?! I am just shocked at the lack of professionalism and absolute ZERO customer service that I have received from this company. I would appreciate it if we could just be refunded all of the money we have spent. We paid to endure rude people and filthy equipment. I would also like to be compensated for the time I have had to spend doing the job that I had originally paid for (cleaning the dirt and glass out of the truck which could have been hazardous, following up on how to resolve these issues). We feel that we should be refunded in full. I could have been cut while having to clean this truck and still do not know for sure if all the glass was successfully removed when I had to clean it. It can be difficult to see such a large amount of small little splinters of shattered glass unless the light shows in on them and they reflect in the light making themselves shown. The dirt and filth of the truck is inexcusable. Then to be unjustly charged on top of the manager refusing to even speak with us... We feel that we deserve additional compensation for our time spent doing their job and for the hardships we endured.

The manager of guy behind the counter was very rude and did not even make eye contact with us. We had filled out up the gas in the truck, like we were suppose to, but still got charged because we forgot to grab the receipt for the gas, watch out! "Did you read the contract?" was the only response we got from him. Would not recommend this from anyone.
