He was able to lay out our options in a way that was easy to understand and then help us with what made the most sense for our situation. But now I try to teach out to her and have attempted to email her 5 times in the past 2.5 weeks and called the office, only to be directed to her voice mail box. The woman we're working with is kind, but very busy, so hopefully we get the time we need to start this process. Taxes, bank statements, ss #, etc. I had to continually call him to check his progress. He always needed more info, or told me he was just "waiting for that lender to call." I sent him an email explaining that the house we wanted went contingent and he never responded! Never called me either! Completely ghosted me. I had a client of mine also tell me how he ghosted them and nearly cost them an expensive farm. Maybe Harvey doesn't want to work, or doesn't need the money. Maybe he's just lazy. This is TERRIBLE customer service. It's stressful enough getting a mortgage, without giving your ALL your info to someone who just disappears. Lakeshore Mortgage is a JOKE.

Horizon Bank offers great service in their home loans department, but their credit card service…read morewould have to improve to be horrible. Recently, I had to lodge complaints with two state agencies to get any action on the "gift VISA cards" Horizon Bank sent me, and ended up losing over $150 in service fees to Elan Services (the card issuers) in fees, even though the cards would not work. I called customer service and was given the wrong information after four hours of working with them, and Horizon Bank refused to acknowledge me or the program after repeated notes to them. It's fine in a world of Black Lives Matter that this bank's board is lily white. It obviously represents the board's sense of community. However, to completely ignore customers and disavow themselves of a program they sponsor, costing customers hundreds and ignoring them compeltely -- is this the group you want as your bank? Dante would create a new level of hell for this customer service department. Avoid them at all costs

I've banked with them for years, but their customer service seems to get worse and worse every year…read moreno matter what branch you call/go to. Their call center is closed on Sundays with absolutely no chance of speaking to a real person, only a robot, even if your issue is extremely urgent. Even on days they are open, the phone number that most branches have listed is just the call center(which is automated and extremely annoying to navigate), which makes it incredibly hard to reach the actual branch. I'm extremely disappointed in how their customer service has declined.
