I have gone three times and have never been disappointed! Glenn is a very personable man. He is…read morequick to answer any questions, starts on time, focuses extra attention on any problem areas you have mentioned, and is willing to be quiet- but usually prefers talking :). The massage is wonderful- i could skip the leg and arm massage but the pressure he uses on the back and the technique (whatever he feels like doing that day!) for feet, hands, and face are pleasant. He is completely appropriate and I didn't feel uncomfortable. I give the massage a 5 stars. Now for the place- its an old building downtown... i got lost coming in the wrong door (my fault). The website has very detailed instructions but it's still confusing (the building...not the directions). There's one elevator to take you to the 5th floor....or take the 5 flights of stairs and be sweaty ;) The entrance to the suite is fun and the room is dated. I chalk it up to him being a guy who is more concerned with giving a good massage, and not charging excess, than updating a room that people aren't going to see for the hour they are on a table. If he could put something underneath the table where your head rests so you aren't looking at dusty speaker that might be helpful? Anyways, the only other "complaint" would be offering water- he has water but never offers it... I'm sure it's free for the taking but after a massage other places they always offer a glass and remind you that it's important to drink water to help flush the system. Offer me a glass of water while I'm slowly peeling myself off the table and I'm a happy camper. All in all, the massage is great, the company is pleasant, and it's worth every penny.

I had waited a year to redeem this massage as it was a gift. I'm fully vaccinated, continue to wear…read morea mask, and was going to request the therapist not touch my hands or face during the massage but did not get that far. Upon entering, he was not wearing a mask and went for a handshake. I turned down the handshake, he joked about this. During the wait, I asked if he was vaccinated, he stated that he was not, even though he appears to be of the first age group to have become eligible. He offered to put a mask on, but I did not trust his judgement in reference to the vast other personal ways of keeping clients safe. He may be the greatest therapist, but he failed where it currently matters. There are safer ways to reduce transmission AND keep your business open.

I have seen Claire several times now, before and after my total hip replacement. She always takes…read moretime to ask me how I'm feeling, what issues I might be having, and what I'm hoping to accomplish during our visit. She never hurries or rushes. Claire is a great listener focusing on the areas needing immediate attention, while providing as much overall healing and care as possible during our sessions. Claire's work space is warm, comfortable, clean, quiet, and safe, making it easy to relax and surrender to her healing touch. I have had a number of massages over the past few years that were pleasant and satisfying. None of them come anywhere close to the level of care and attention I get from Claire. Not only is she an excellent therapist and practitioner on her own, she encourages me to talk with my physician and physical therapist about our sessions so she can coordinate her therapy with the treatments and care I'm receiving from my physician and PT as well. Claire is incredible! Her knowledge and skill put her head and shoulders above anyone else I've been to, and I very highly recommend her. I wish I had found her long ago.

I was also having collapses that were in part due to my neck position in my posture. Claire worked on my shoulder and chest with her firm touch and also stretched my shoulder and arm out. Her work has always been exceptional. This is just the latest.
