Haircuts here are certainly not cheap but unlike some of the poor reviews, the stylists are quite patient. I have taken both my son and daughter here and they both love getting haircuts. The chairs are what makes the experience a little more kid friendly. They have a toy car, train that looks like Thomas the Tank Engine, I think a horse and police motorcycle lots of options. There is a TV on to distract the kids as well as the wall of cheap toys as someone else mentioned. However, there has been never any pressure to purchase anything nor have my kids really made a big deal out of it. There are no more issues with parents not being able to come in with their kids Either. I wonder if that had been a Covid rule. When the kids are done their haircut, they are offered a lollypop each time which makes the experience more enticing for them. They have also done my daughter's hair in little princess braids, and sprayed a little glitter hairspray, which she loves. Booking an appointment has generally been quite easy as well as we typically like to do these weekday afternoons or early morning on the weekends. We will continue to come here for the kids until I feel like they outgrow the experience.

Sisi washed my hair with a great scalp massage and her and Jason both brushed my hair SO GENTLY I have never had such a careful attentive experience in a salon. My hair turned out gorgeous and still looks amazing the next day. The best part? It was a fraction of what some other salons in the area charge for the same. But I would call and make an appointment for sure regardless and do not do walk in! They have a coat rack and slippers at the front for kids and adults if you wish to use them. There is a air hockey table in the corner near the cash and they do sell small gifts and toys. There is also a shelf with books and toys to keep kiddies entertained. My favourite part is each styling station has a wide range of vehicles for the kids to sit in. Some are for younger kids and some are for older (atv style with no back support etc). The ones for younger kids also have fidget things such as light switches/keys to put in key holes to keep them occupied. There are also tvs at each station and when it is your turn, the stylist will ask and put up a show to ensure it is one your child is ok with watching/will like. The cut itself was very fast, done within 10 minutes? It came out looking really good and I just liked how fast it was so no meltdowns were happening. If you are a first timer, you also get a ziploc baggie with some hair clippings and a certificate to commemorate the experience! Will definitely be back once the hair grows out and gets a bit unruly!

I find this a genius idea as many children are nervous or outright scared the first time they get their haircut. Michelle was efficient yet thorough and very accommodating. She didn't cut too much off and she didn't cut too little off. She listened to all my requests and fulfilled each one to a T. She gave me good advice when I asked her questions on how to do my daughter's hair more effectively. They also do ear piercing there and have a little salon boutique where you can purchase toys, nail polish, earrings, hair accessories, etc. Overall it was a great experience.
