We visited today and were lucky enough to catch a performance by the Taiko Project. Their performance honestly gave me chills! Love that they also talked about the history of taiko in Japan and US and they even had volunteers at the end of the show to try taiko drumming! There was also Kamishibai storytelling in the tea garden, which the kids really enjoyed. They also have Japanese Garden "I Spy" sheet for the kids to do and Clean Water Patrol activity book. This is def one of those low stress, high vibe activities that I highly recommend. Just a heads-up though, outside food and drinks aren't allowed inside, but water is ok. There are restrooms near the entrance as well as behind the tea garden. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kids. We had such a relaxing afternoon and are already looking forward to coming back for more events at this little oasis.

I don't even have words to say how happy I was with his performance at our wedding. All I can say is thank you, and thank you again; and my goodness bro, thank you! We wanted a Spanish guitarist for our wedding, but we also wanted someone who can play traditional guitar as well. Like I said before, I don't even know what to say. Everything he played was perfection. I'm definitely a perfectionist (as he probably could tell when we met) which by the way, he had no problem doing. He responded to my emails, met up with my wife and I, and although he's a professional; he was humble enough to listen to everything we wanted to say, which is extremely important in a vendor. Not only did Rico meet my expectations, he surpassed them. Completely. Here were some of my initial concerns. I knew he could play the Spanish guitar (because I heard him in his videos) but I had no idea if he could play traditional guitar, because I hadn't heard him do so. He assured me that he could, so I really had to trust him. Not only could he play the traditional guitar, he could play it so amazingly beautiful. I would now trust this dude to do anything.
