They also do plenty of new stock to compliment the second hand items, this is mainly chart DVDs and discontinued electrical goods. All electricals are graded on their condition with the price reflecting that, so you know of any minor scratches etc. before you've paid. Mobile phones are separated into network grouping with unlocked phones on their own; this shop was invaluable when my mobile phone was being repaired rendering the need for a cheap temporary phone on a network which tend to avoid that market. The games and films have crazy prices with Xbox360 games typically around £25 even for the most recent and popular titles. DVDs likewise, I managed to buy a brand new copy of The Simpsons Movie on DVD for £3 just three weeks after it was released. Well worth a visit when in the Arndale if you're thinking of popping into anywhere like HMV.

Maplin sell computer accessories as well as all the parts to go in them too. They sell audio cables and connectors too. If you visit their online store you will see the vast amount of products available in your local store. The store itself has a catalogue which allows you to have part numbers ready or have parts ordered in. At the back of the store you will fin a handy counter where the technicians will quite literally be able to build your desired part if they dont sell it or if you need something special making up. The only bad thing about the maplin chain is that they can be a tad expensive on some things, but you do get a professional service where the satff know what they are tlking about in all aspects of what they sell.

Have used the T-Mobile store within the CentreMK twice now and both times have found the staff very…read morepleasant and helpful. The first time I used the store I was changing my mobile contract from another provider to T-Mobile. The staff were very good in explaining the tariffs that were available to me, taking into account my text and call use. They then went onto explain the handsets that were available at the price within my budget. Setting up and swapping from the previous provider happened smoothly and within the timescales given to me by the T-Mobile staff. Fortunately I had no problems with the phone so never had to go back but I'm sure if they did the staff would be helpful. The 2nd time I used the store as to upgrade my phone about 12 months ago - again the staff were helpful in explaining the phones that were available to me and at what cost. I went away with a new mobile and the same tariff. I have had problems with this phone but that is due to the signal and nothing that T-Mobile have done. Parking for this store is mainly via the pay and display around the centre.

The staff are really helpfull and very friendly! If you want some advice or surgestions on what to buy they are always willing to help and seem to really enjoy their job, they know a lot about what they are selling.
