I was overwhelmed by the kindness and concern that was given. They immediately contacted my nephews, commanding officer, and made sure he could get the time off of work. I received an email the next morning, telling me that they had contacted his commanding officer. They contacted me by telephone after to make sure that he, had sufficient funds for his air line ticket, and if he needed help getting a ride to the airport. I received a call and email asking if everything was taken care of and if there was anything else that they could do to assist us. During this time I'm sorry I didn't write and say how wonderful they were. Today I received a questionnaire, asking me how they did. I n thinking about this I realized they really deserved a big shout out. So if you're thinking about donating to an organization, I would recommend the Red Cross wholeheartedly. This is a change in my mindset due to my families dislike of the Red Cross over the years for something that happened I believe in World War II! Or Korean conflict! I had a mixed experience at the Central Texas Training Center. The instructors were…read moreexcellent--knowledgeable, supportive, and committed to helping students succeed. I truly appreciated their professionalism and effort during my time in the program. Unfortunately, the administrative side of the school has been very disappointing. I officially dropped from the program in April, but the school didn't report my withdrawal to the VA until June a months later. Because of this delay, I was charged for a month I didn't attend, which created unnecessary complications with my VA education benefits. The admissions representative has been extremely hard to reach. Every time I visit the school to resolve the issue, I'm told she's unavailable and will call me but she never follows up. I also feel the admissions process lacks transparency and seems geared toward misleading students, especially veterans using VA benefits. While I appreciate the great instructors, I strongly urge future students especially veterans to keep thorough records and be cautious when dealing with admissions.

Reported false information to CPS on me. Released unnecessary medical information to my chain of command. Believed my chain of command who accused me of malingering despite constantly coming in for the same symptoms and ended up having to be hospitalized bc of their negligence. I will be filing a tort against CRDAMC. If I were to ever be in life threatening situation and my only option was to go to Darnall, I'd just rather die where I'm at then be transported to Darnall. The VA has recognized the discrepancies in my records as well.
