The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm an employer and if one of my staff greeted a customer the way I was tonight, I'd be livid. I was only "greeted" after standing at the counter long enough for one of the techs to finally roll his eyes and me and yell from across the lobby, "yeah, what's going on!?" After I replied, pardon me, he repeated his inquisition. So utterly rude. It wasn't until he realized that I wasn't amused that he got up just to tell me that even if i had an appointment, they were closed(!). Needless to say, I did not want his assistance at this point, not to mention all the other employees acted completely oblivious to the situation. I can only imagine how incompetent the management at this facility is. Piss poor read more

Besides the kind nurse with the glasses, and the Asian lady who was kind as well, the customer service here is non existent. They are so bad with communication every person tells me something different. First I had a huge issue with them changing the donation amount on me, then after that was fixed, I experienced more problems. Last week I came to donate and they told me that I need to take a physical. After waiting for over 45 minutes, I finally was able to do a physical. After I did the physical, I noticed that the line was completely full. I told the nurse that I did not have enough time to donate and that I will have to donate another time because I had to go to work. (They threaten to cut you off if you leave early while donating so I didn't want to start donating and then have to leave early) and she assured me that I would NOT have to do a physical again. So today I came back and what do you know? Yep. They tell me that I have to do a physical AGAIN, and this time I waited more than an HOUR and STILL did not even have a chance to do another physical (that wasn't even needed in the first place) and no matter how many times I told them, they acted like they could care less. Not one single apology from anyone, no apathy, no understanding, nothing.. To make matters worse, their assistant manager Nisha came and was even more rude the the guy I was talking to before and I tried to explain to her that I already did my physical last week and that the nurse told me I wouldn't have to do it again and that I drove an hour to come here BOTH times and she did not care to hear anything I had to say and kept talking over me so I stopped talking to hear what she had to say and all she told me was that I was misinformed and that I do actually have to take a physical again because I didn't donate, and she didn't take ANY accountability for her staff providing me misinformation, she didn't apologize, and she clearly showed that she did not care at all that they dropped the ball. She only seemed satisfied in telling me that I have to continue to wait to do another physical for (no reason because I already did one last week) wether I liked it or not. I asked for Roy and she walked away mid sentence and ignored me and did not answer when I asked for her name. Luckily someone else there gave me her name and told me she's the assistant manager and that she's really rude to a lot of customers. This place has so much potential to do great things, but unfortunately their lack of knowledge, accountability and professionalism, prevent them from getting better. read more

1. Said they would pay me missing funds 3 different times over the phone... It never came through. 2. Even worse, the phlebotomists are very unqualified for their job. My friends and I have got severe bruising from their malpractice. (Ask for Wally or Wallace, he's good) read more

I made an appointment and show up and the lady in front was super rude. Saying there's no such thing as appointments and they're not taking first time donors. Okay then how did I make an appointment on your app?? So I ask when would be a good time for a first time donor to come in. She reads me the business hours. I tell her I'm here during those hours and you're turning me away. She says they're at capacity. There is NOBODY waiting. So I ask again when should I come back and she gets impatient and says just call. I call multiple times over the course of a few days and no matter what time I call, they say they're at capacity. Went to bio lab instead and got in that same day. read more

I have donated at Octaplasma a bunch of times in the past but lately my experiences kept getting worse and worse. I'm so glad I did my research and found CSL. They actually care about your safety and experience! They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable from the moment you walk in. I will definitely be recommending thos location to my friends. Thanks to Ashley and Taesha for making my first time very pleasant (: read more

New donors are supposably walk in. I did that & got denied twice as a new donor because of it being "short staffed" waste of time & gas. I was also told they take new donors up till 2 hours before closing, which was a lie. I'd say it's laziness. Do not go here. read more

CSL Plasma - Csl - Blood & Plasma Donation Centers Near Me - Riverside, California

The staff are not knowledgeable and turned my daughter away because she is a type 1 diabetic. Their first reason was that her insulin was created using beef/pork blood...they haven't done this in years! Second excuse was then she's on a pump. (?) Yeah, it saves her life just like your pancreas saves yours... 3rd, blamed it on the FDA... Title 21 CFR630.30 gives donation suitability requirements and she meets all 4 of the requirements and has a letter from her endocrinologist. How do we educate to get past this?? The nation is in a critical blood/plasma shortage, why would we turn away suitable product?? read more

You cannot make an appointment here, so you just have to walk in. At first I was impressed, big facility, a lot of staff, seemed to be well organized. Checked in at the front desk. My 80+ father also checked in. We were told there were people ahead of us in line and went to the waiting area. To make a long story short, after almost 2 hours of waiting, my father was told he could not donate, he was too old. Nothing was mentioned on the website about an age limit for donations. But he should have been told immediately on check in, when they looked at his license. He left, but I stayed. I mentioned that there were a lot of staff. But even with many clients waiting, they stood around laughing and joking. They obviously don't have the right staff in the right positions to streamline the process, or the staff simply does not care about the people there for donations. I had to wait to be helped even at the reception desk. There were no updates about the length of time we would have to wait. When I finally asked how much longer it would be, the receptionist was very rude. At 3 hours, still not knowing if I could even donate, and knowing that even if I could donate, it would be at least another 2 hours to complete the process, I decided I would not wait any longer. Very unprofessional, unorganized, completely disrespectful of other people's time, no apologies or explanations for the long delay, and rude staff. I will never go back. Note: the 2021 reviews are more positive, which leaves a decent overall rating. But the reviews in 2022 all say the same types of things as mine, so clearly the place has gone down hill! read more

This location has amazing staff with welcoming smiles. Very professional, very clean, and patient environment

Csl plasma is a great donation center. Staff is super helpful and friendmy.

This place is total disaster ! Super long lines and very unorganized. My last 2 times trying to donate was the worst. I figured I would donate before work on a Friday but after waiting in line for 2 hours I realized I would be late to work so I couldn't donate that day and today I waiting in line for over an hour only to find out that my blood pressure was put in with a high number by mistake. This led to a red flag and the system wouldn't let me donate. But good thing I was given a $10 inconvenience bonus for all the time I wasted. I will NEVER return to this place and hope to be removed from CSL plasmas system. Biolife is 100 times better. read more

they are slow asfc. always fuccin talking. ill be finished pumping and they'll take everyone else OUT OF ORDER . they don't kno who stopped 1st cause they stay having other conversations SONT RECOMMEND GO THE ONE IN RANCHO THIS PLACE IS TRASH read more

Tried giving this place a second chance, worst mistake ever, I go in months later to see if my protein levels are "good" once again they say they are low, I just donated at BioLife a week ago lol so why was I able to donate there and not here? After the protein test by finger stick they say they still need an SPE sample and that I won't have to wait it will be "quick" 20 minutes later and I'm still waiting there for my sample, and one of the donors complained because they were going to do my sample before helping him, so they skip me because he's complaining, so I tell them I'm done with that place they're horrible. Smells like smoke as soon as u walk in front desk in no help at all they stand around chit chatting before helping anyone the phone rings off the hook forever, they literally hire anyone for this place so unprofessional I should have never came back. read more

Poor service there is No Organization When I asked to speak with the manager she showed no care or concern about my complaint I do not recommend to donate at this facility Very bad service read more

Rude and mean staff! The first time i tried donating at this location I called the day before to see if they were taking new donors for the following day and they said yes. I arrived at 8am in the morning because they said to arrive early and they tell me they are not accepting new donors. I was irritated because i was told they would accept new donors and they told me to arrive early and i couldn't even donate. So I went to the Csl plasma in ralito so nice people totally recommend going there instead of the one in Riverside. The next time I went to the one in Riverside, and the staff was rude and mean I only had one nice in-counter with one staff member. The Riverside Location is Terrible! Definitely just drive the extra 15 minutes to Rialto so worth it! read more

The way this place is run is an absolute joke. The front desk nurses allow random people to hang around the front desk while taking peoples personal information. There's no organization or direction telling first time donors where to go and what to do. Kind of a disgrace imo. read more
