Fortunately, Lexington Diagnostic has options for patients like myself. I experienced "open MRI" that allowed me to have three sides unobstructed while I was in the machine. My technician was Meagan and she was extremely professional and even though the diagnostic center is very busy, she did not rush me or overlook my concerns about the process. I did have to wait past my appointment time, but not excessively long. Like I said, they are very busy but they seem to keep the flow of patients moving pretty well. I highly recommend them and if I have medical imaging needs in the future I will no doubt go here again.

Doctors are recommending patients for an open MRI, patients go there or an MRI, and don't find out until they get there and given a gown that they don't have it. They ask the patient if they are claustrophobic and then tell them they don't have an open MRI. They have two machines - on that is smaller than a coffin, and a larger so they ask if you want to be put in feet first. I had a MRI and my doctor wanted one with contrast. He ordered it immediately and they kept making excuses about how it would take 28 days to get another one. My doctor faxed them, and finally called them; my insurance company contacted them and I called them. They said doctors depended too much on faxes and I know my doctor called because I kept tell them they wouldn't do it. I discovered that when 28 days had passed they could charge you again and they wouldn't do just the MRI with contrast but they did the other one first. They were able to charge $200 even thought I had paid $170 just 27 days earlier. They were waiting until they could charge for another MRI without out contrast (which I didn't need) and add the with contrast to it. I was very upset and would have walked out but I needed to get the one with contrast and my doctor had been waiting a month. I came away with the feeling of false advertising and feeling cheated because of the scheme to get paid twice.

They were the most unprofessional set of nurses/nurses assistants I have ever came in counter with. I will never bring myself or family to this emergency room again. They do mammograms but also other imaging for the other clinic beside them. The technician walks you through everything she is doing so you don't feel anymore uncomfortable than it is to be squeezed the machines! When I booked, I was told "she is here in the mornings," so I expected a female therapist. When I arrived, it turned out the therapist was a man, and no one mentioned anything about the switch or asked if I was okay with that. The massage itself was the worst one I've ever had. He didn't seem trained at all, used one hand most of the time, barely applied any pressure, and the movements were so random that it didn't even feel like a real massage. He kept trying to chit-chat the whole time, which made the experience even more uncomfortable and impossible to relax. Total waste of time. The adjustment was the only good part. (TMI? I don't care.) I had a session with Miriam. She was great! She asked me the right questions and made me feel comfortable. She immediately found all the areas on my body that were misaligned and needed work. The experience was relaxing and much-needed for my muscles. I never knew what I had been missing....!!! I intend to make an appointment to come in for the free chiropractic consultation Miriam gave me and my husband, but keep forgetting. Maybe this review will serve as a reminder to myself to get that taken care of. My body needs to be fixed, and they can help me here. Just an FYI: they are very booked. I was told that I would have to book a month out for an appointment. This is clearly a sign that business is good, but will be hard for new customers.

I've had well over a dozen MOHS surgeries to the same areas including 4 very invasive procedures last December and a melanoma excision on my chest a few months ago. My (PDT) was scheduled for tomorrow, 8/25/26. 3 days ago, I received a text from this group asking me to pre-register for my 12:50pm appointment for tomorrow. I did so and then received another text thanking me for pre-registering and stating, "See you soon at: DAK Lexington." An hour ago, I received another text informing me that the appointment had been cancelled...1 business day after they asked me to pre-register for that very same appointment and confirmed that I had pre-registered as they requested. I have had several other issues with this group not following through with scheduling procedures hour+ long waits for scheduled appointments, rudeness, lack of professionalism, severe scarring from their MOHS surgeries, etc. They are part of the Lexington Clinic Group. 22 YELP reviews with an average 2.5 rating. That is 50% which in my school days equated to an "F" grade on the report card. I highly recommend you stay away from these 2 clinics.
