I contacted NEPA Cleaning in January to help clean my sister's home. She is undergoing cancer…read moretreatment and is having difficulty managing household tasks, so this was a sensitive situation. I contracted directly with the owner, Jourdyn, for a 3-hour deep cleaning of the kitchen. I was told someone would arrive between 12:00-12:30, but no one showed up until 1:50, with no communication or explanation. The "deep cleaning" consisted only of doing the dishes, wiping the countertops, and vacuuming the kitchen floor. This was nowhere near what was agreed upon. I communicated that this level of service was unacceptable and informed the owner I would not be using the company going forward. Unfortunately, the situation then escalated further. Authorities were contacted regarding the condition of my sister's home. I had been upfront about her circumstances and was assured confidentiality and care. That trust was broken. Given the lack of professionalism, poor service, and breach of trust, I would not recommend NEPA Cleaning.

The cleaning looked like a teenager doing chores five minutes before asking for WiFi. I saw the messages and priorities of what my friend wanted cleaned top of the list like most people. Both bathrooms. One bathroom wasn't touched, and the kitchen "deep clean" amounted to wiping counters and some light fixtures. Weirdly the oven which was never mentioned was kind of cleaned but overall... just a strong smell of cleaner sprayed inside. The ads (which the owner has now removed) clearly listed pricing for two cleaners for the deep clean rate and then conveniently changed via message and my friend was charged $400 for surface level work. On top of that, the text messages the owner sent her were obviously AI and the owner even admitted the ad itself was AI and inaccurate. My friend asked for a walkthrough within 36 hours of the "cleaning," and the owner declined. She also refused a fair partial reimbursement and tried to argue that everything was completed perfectly. Spoiler: it wasn't. As Maury would say, "that was determined to be a lie." And the biggest red flag? The owner blocked my friend on social media so she couldn't leave a review or even contact her. My friend probably wouldn't have posted anything anyways. but I'm not her. This company showed zero integrity, zero compassion, and zero professionalism. If you're considering hiring them, please don't. There are plenty of cleaners in NEPA who won't take advantage of someone going through a hard time

The younger guy did all the talking and work, while the older guy just stood around and watched. The younger guy was a good salesperson, and against my better judgment, I went with him on an expensive toilet. I didn't know that if two guys come, they charge you for both. The old guy did nothing. Since the toilet was installed, I've noticed some small issues. The plastic is coming off the handle of the flusher, the toilet seat if locked to the seat. What if you want to change it you can't. You may not think this a bother but, if you paid that much you expect better quality.
