And they also charge you $130/hr to drive to your location. The original estimate simply said: 11 hours labor. That was it. 'Labor Residential Camera 1 Technician'. He was here for only 8, but I was billed for the full 11 hours. When I called and said there was a mistake, I was told that the extra 4 hours was drive-time. I would never have agreed to that if I knew that upfront! $520 just to get here??? They said that was normal for them, even on service calls (despite my asking and verifying that I was within their service area). So that is immediately $520 right off the top for every service call to fix equipment that they installed. Even asking them to come up with a more reasonable travel fee was denied. Didn't care that I was unhappy. They got my money so why should they? So basically, the warranty is useless because I'll have to pay $520 dollars for any service call for any warranty work. What a rip-off...and the more I think about it, the more I realize...what a scam also. So go ahead and use them if you like paying $130/hr for their tech to sit in the a/c truck and listen to tunes before he even starts any work on your system.
