We stopped here after being turned away from another restaurant around the corner in the shopping/dining district of the Port du Cruesty. It was 6:30 pm, the kids were hungry and did not want to wait until 7 pm when many restaurants start dinner service. The proprietor here was welcoming and immediately sat us at a table. The interior is contemporary, clean and comfortable.
We ordered a galette with butter and one with bacon, egg and cheese as well as several bowls of mussels with fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. The galettes were fantastic -- flavorful and tender with thin, crispy edges. If we weren't leaving tomorrow I would return to try their specialty galettes.
Service was efficient and swift. This crêperie is a good option for a quick yet satisfying meal. We were the only ones in the restaurant initially, but several French couples came in after us. The proprietor and the waitress spoke to us in French and neither were condescending at all despite my rusty skills with the language. Another waitress spoke English well so non-French speakers need not worry. read more
