I have used Crystal 3 times. The first time she left us locked outside of her building for 20 minutes for our family Christmas pics. I have had friends tell me the same thing happened to them.The second time she was supposed to have her cake person supply the cake for my daughter's 1st birthday cake smash. I show up for the shoot and she says, " Oh, was I supposed to bring a cake? My cake girl is sick." Why wouldn't you tell me that BEFORE I got there? I had to leave and I had to get the cake from publix and now my kid is cranky for her photos. The third shoot was for Christmas pics and on three occasions she said she had to get going, she had another shoot. My 2 year old being cranky wasn't working well for her and she wasn't in the mood. Mind you she did nothing to help get my child to smile. I was running around doing all the work. she didn't provide me with my photos until the day before Christmas Eve so I was unable to send out Christmas cards. She overbooked herself and was too overwhelmed. Me and several others suffered because she was selfish and kept booking photo shoots knowing she couldn't deliver in time. Lastly, I had booked my daughter's 2nd birthday photo shoot. Before the session I asked if I would have the photos in time for her birthday and she said no. I told her I understand and asked for her to please refund me the deposit. I have screenshots of the conversation stating from her that she would give me my money back. she also said she was in to deep and couldn't believe she over booked so much. now she is ignoring me and won't give me my money back. It's just bad business. I hope this doesn't happen to others but I bet it has. Many of my friends and family will now no longer be using her after what she has done. Crystal, it's the principle. I was so shocked to see that this photographer had poor reviews on this site. Crystal did a phenomenal job on my now three year old daughter's milestone photos for her first year of life. We live farther away from her now, but we were so happy with her work that we now drive an hour and a half for milestone photos of our new baby daughter. Please don't be put off by any other negative reviews. You want her to take your child's photos! read more

Avoid a disgusting individual. From the start she was clueless and unprofessional, after requesting to reschedule due to the hurricane she informed me that we would still do the pictures but she would Photoshop them. I refused because I didn't want them heavily photo shopped. We rescheduled. When we got to the appointment on time, she was still unpacking her vehicle and not even ready for the session. During the session she was sweaty and it wasn't even hot i was 9 mos. preg and completely fine. It was truly unsettling. She was running around trying to find baby wipes or tissues it was so bad the place was a complete mess of everything you could imagine. There were things everywhere and including things falling every time she reached for an item. She said "when it rains it pours" referring to everything falling. She also couldn't get her camera and light to work properly and spent about 20 minutes trying to fix it. Her camera kept shutting down. Because she took so long we had to rush to the beach before sunset. the second part was the beach with my family. It was horribly windy the shoot was horrible and barely anytime left to take pictures before sunset. She was so impatient with our kids and was very rude about it. She kept acting very annoyed and refused to take any picture if they weren't posing perfectly. It was so windy we struggled to keep the girls hair out of their face and they were so frustrated about it. I also couldn't even keep my hair out of my face. Our daughter was crying the entire time because it was cold and windy. She said to our 2 year old "you must 2 because they're all the same" It was pretty clear not a single good picture was taken. After struggling for 30 minutes she said okay times up and began packing her stuff up. She also mentioned over and over how bad the weather was. My Husband confronted her in the parking lot about the poor shoot. She told him if you want a reshoot you'll have to pay the full amount for a new shoot. She claims she spent hours with us which really was only about an hour a half. With about 45 minutes of her wasting my time fixing her equipment and driving to the beach and getting set up. After getting a new photographer that we had used in the past she messaged me via her invoice software saying that she would pursue theft of service charges with the authorities. She also said once we paid she would send over the gallery. Clearly a gallery we didn't want and she hadn't even fulfilled her service to file such a bogus claim. After seeing that we had gotten new maternity pictures done by a real artist she emailed me about having my maternity pictures done which was the beginning of her STALKING and HERASSMENT. She literally found me on Facebook and watched everything i posted and did. She put that she seen i had my maternity pictures. After we ignored her emails she messaged me directly on Facebook and threatened and tried to blackmail me into paying by saying she would use my pictures for her own gain and advertising and so on. Which is illegal and called misappropriation of likeness. We contacted an attorney we commonly used for our business who informed us what she was doing was a Second Degree Felony in the State of Florida. With his help we filed a formal Criminal Complaint against her for her actions. The day before we had even done our newborn photos of our son she contacted me through Facebook that we had a signed contract and that she had been informed that she had been told by someone that we had already done our newborn session which made me completely uncomfortable and simply not the case yet. This is also where she threatened to use my photos for her "monies worth" as advertising if we didn't pay up. It's disgusting that someone would act like someone is working for her or a friend of hers that is telling her about our lives. She also went on her Facebook to bash my family publicly and criticized a 2 year old and a specials needs child for being upset. read more

Where do I start.. this is amazing work started from a young age up this woman has learned so much and gives 110% every shoot. She is quick and very creative. I recommend to everyone in the area. If you want a photographer who doesn't respect her appointment so choose her. Don't be shocked if she cancel the photo session just one hour before the appointment because she think the weather is not good for a photo shoot. She just send me an email even if she has my number she didn't call me telling me that she would not come. The only advantage I gained from the really bad experienced with her that I decide to buy a camera because I no longer trust such this appointment.
