There was a workbench covered with various clays and natural material. Even some pyrite/fools gold. That and animal bones, insect larvae and more. This is a higher end gallery- and after our conversation, I understand why. The shear knowledge of farming your own clay, testing the temperature for firing, shrinkage, vitrification & absorption rate- a rabbit hole I may someday fall into. I loved his passion for the subject. The art throughout the space was also fabulous. The woman artist was concentrating on her work and her sculptures were fantastic!
