I have a friend that who is a plumber who told me he would use a trench digger to leave a small line in my yard and he would use a pump to spray underneath my concrete so he wouldn't have to tear it up. He was really busy with his work so he could not do the job for me.

Recently we had a handyman doing some work at my home and he had an issue and thought he put a screw through a wire so he stopped work on the ceiling fan, we called Billy Beard Electric to come out and assess the situation. The staff that visited the home said there was no issue and no screw through a wire and installed the fan but said that the handyman had burned up the motor in the fan and it would need to be replaced, and then gave me a $125+ dollar invoice for the service call. Then after a new fan motor was purchased we called someone to come and install the new motor and found not only one but two screws were through wires in my ceiling. I called Billy Beard as I was frustrated that his crew was told there was a possible screw through a wire and they said that wasn't the issue, after informing Billy Beard of the issue and asking if he thinks I should owe this bill or not the response was "pay what you want but maybe Billy Beard Electric shouldn't do anymore work for you". Not the resolution I was hoping for, I will pay for this bill as it is obvious that Billy Beard believes I should pay for this and I agree that his staff did spend time at my home but they also left an issue that could have easily burned down my home. In time I may change my mind and use Billy Beard Electric again but for now there is no way I can recommend them to a friend or family member. Disappointed in this service.

Would love to give this company 10 stars…read more We have our unit serviced twice a year but of course during the hottest days in August 2024 that's when we experienced problems. Outside temperatures almost triple digits with heat index well past 100-105. On Tuesday night at 9:30 pm we get a message from our smart thermostat that instead of keeping the house at 73 degrees it was now 78 and we needed to contact Koppeis. I called at 8 o'clock on Wednesday morning for a service call. Due to the extreme heat wave the best I could get was afternoon Friday. Well, I took the appointment. Received a call Wednesday afternoon and we were moved up to Thursday early afternoon. WOW... the technician got here about 1:15, same guy we had for our routine checkup in the spring so he was knowledgeable with our setup. He checked the outside unit; capacitor out; under warrenty; switched it out; checked out rest of the unit and was gone about 2:05. Love these guys. The temperature in the house had gotten up to 85 before the service call. Now at 4:15 we are at 78 and still dropping. Nice.
