We were both happy with what she did, and how everything was explained clearly. Prescription eyewear selection followed and that was fairly smooth as well. I went in again and there was this one lady at the front desk who was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I approached the front desk to request a printout of my contact lens prescription as suggested by Dr. Rubin, she insisted I had to pay for both a contact lens exam and a glasses exam, even though I hadn't requested a glasses exam, and my glasses prescription was still valid from four months ago. I paid, but requested explanations. Despite explaining my insurance coverage and situation, she remained adamant, refusing to listen and even declined to provide my prescription print out, citing distraction from billing inquiries. She then callously added, "You contact your insurance. If nothing else I can help you. You can be out of here." When I suggested Dr. Rubin come out to explain, the lady at the front desk callously retorted, "Dr. Rubin doesn't own the business. It is what it is; you have to pay for two exams." This further added to my disappointment and frustration, as it seemed to dismiss my concerns entirely. Feeling frustrated and disappointed, I requested Dr. Rubin's presence myself, and he and another front desk staff member clarified the billing procedure and explained changes in my insurance policy. Despite this, I still questioned the necessity of double exams, especially given the recent glasses exam. While Dr. Rubin is excellent, the behavior of one team member left me feeling disrespected and dismissed, tarnishing the overall experience.

Before Dr. Hollier brought me back to the exam room, the staff members ensured that everything was cleaned and sanitized. Dr. Hollier and I were both required to wash our hands thoroughly before starting the exam. You can tell they really take COVID protocols seriously - which I appreciate! Dr. Hollier is incredibly knowledgeable, straight forward and patient. She was also very warm and made me feel comfortable right away. She was easy to talk to and addressed all of my concerns immediately. My wife came in with me to have her glasses adjusted, and Dr. Hollier was so thorough that she even addressed a concern I had with my wife's glasses even though she wasn't her patient. I was really impressed. The front desk staff is also very nice and accommodating! The office is very modern, clean and has a great selection of frames. The prices are standard. Parking is easy. We moved to the area right before the pandemic, and have been looking for a good eye doctor. I'm so glad to have found Dr. Hollier, my wife and I will be going to her moving forward!

In the past with other eye doctors, it took multiple visits and I ended up with mediocre results. Dr. Fang provided multiple samples so I could experience different options. Ultimately, I now have contacts (over age 50) that give me great vision at distance and up close. The office staff are reasonably cordial and seem efficient. They emailed me the patient history form to update, and the form *kept* my info from last time, so reading through the form and updating it was a quick process. Aaaand when I arrived they did not inform me that "they didn't receive" the form, which is something one too often encounters, whereupon you're handed a medical history form with three or more pages worth of data you must now enter by hand. At my mid-morning appointment I waited less than five minutes before the technician took me into the exam room. The doctor appeared within a few minutes -- no long wait. Dr. Rubin is knowledgeable and courteous, and always answers my questions without any trace of condescension or attitude, making for a pleasantly low-stress visit. Thank you! After several visits to this location I conclude that the practice is well-run, and staff are mindful not to waste the patient's time.
