We had some bumps in the road but because of the way those bumps were handled and fixed I would not hesitate in using ServPro again and highly recommending them to anyone needing mitigation and rebuilding. Justin, Mitch and Vincent did everything needed to fix the logistic problems and fix our cabin so it could be healthy and safe again. Vincint came up with the best plan out of any of the companies we had looked at for our cabin. Mitch took time out of his vacation with his family to inspect our cabin and ensure that the work we had planned was the right path to take. Justin was absolutely amazing, once he was given the project it was smooth sailing. Justin gave us updates regularly and questions answered promptly. The scope of our project plan made by Vincint included the following - in our crawl space two French drains and two sump pumps/lift stations were put in. To ensure we didn't end up with a small pool of water outside the cabin Justin came up with a plan to put in a 30-foot long 5-foot-deep French drain outside to drain the water from the pumps. They sealed the living space from the crawl space to minimize the humidity in the living area. A new structural beam was put in and, in the process, Justin saved us a substantial amount of money by measuring and inspecting the concrete footing that was already there and then having the existing footing ok'd by the engineer. The outside and inside of the cabin look great. The only indication that a 5-foot-deep trench was dug is the lack of vegetation. Inside the cabin there is absolutely no indication that dirt was wheelbarrowed out of the crawl space or equipment moved through the cabin. We're so extremely happy with how everything turned out!!!

A technician came out, serviced the unit, and identified the issue: a faulty blower. He provided a quote for the replacement, which I approved immediately. That's when the problems began. Ten days later, I called for an update and was told the part hadn't even been ordered. Another ten days later, I was informed the part wasn't available, but they could try retrofitting a similar one. When I asked if there were other options, they said no--so I agreed. On the scheduled day, I took time off work, only to receive a call 30 minutes after they were supposed to arrive saying they could now order the correct part directly from the manufacturer--something they had previously claimed was impossible. To proceed, I had to pay in full immediately. Fast forward three months, and I still didn't have a working fireplace. For weeks, I was repeatedly told, "It should arrive next week." Finally, after expressing my frustration, I got a call at 5:00 PM saying they had located the part, expedited shipping, and could complete the repair the next day. I took another day off work. The technician arrived--but with the wrong part. Instead of tracking down the actual component, they gave him a universal one that didn't fit. They then assured me the correct part would arrive in two days. This time, my wife took the day off work. The technician showed up an hour and a half late (after I had called and reminded them we had rearranged our schedules for this), but they finally made the repair. Other issues worth noting: I was promised a callback from a manager or owner--still waiting on that. Their phone system is a mess. Every time I was placed on hold (which was often), someone else would pick up and begin a different conversation. I would explain who I was and they would say "oh, let me put you back on park." The three coldest months of winter without my primary heat source, multiple days off work, countless phone calls, and constant misinformation (what my generation would call lies). I will never use this company again.

They diagnosed the original problem which was an issue with the window flashing being done incorrectly from the builders and corrected the issue. It then rained and started showing a lesser water leak than before. The siding guy came back out within 24hrs and noticed another issue with my siding and the direction the wind was coming at my house and reversed the seams of my siding. I have not had a leak since! I definitely recommend these guys and will come back to them if I have any other issues with my house. They were reasonably priced and did very good work. Thank you guys!

Why she…read morehad thought it was okay to store paint in our master bedroom is a different story, but living with two large dogs and two small children should tell you the consequence of my painter's poor decision: a half gallon of paint poured directly onto our brand new carpet (only two weeks old). Fortunately, Medalist Cleaners responded fast. They told me to drop a damp/wet towel on the mess and wait for them to suck it clean with their industrial wet-vac. They arrived about an hour later and went to work. 30 minutes after that, they had the paint completely sucked up. The fellow doing the cleaning asked me to check it for my satisfaction and I got in there and really rubbed my fingers and palms down into the carpet and padding. My hands came away looking clean, though closer inspection reviewed a very tiny, almost invisible residue in the cracks of my hands. I asked them to give it a second cleaning and the fellow obliged. The next time I ran fingers through the carpet, they came away clean. Nice job! Medalist Cleaners came fast and helped us in an emergency. I would use them again.
