I immediately noticed that he was coughing uncontrollably and constantly. Marcelo has been coughing the entire time during the test drive and he did not cover his mouth while coughing. I became worried and asked him THREE times if he's sick, I told him that I am severely immunocompromised, I have an autoimmune condition as well as a heart condition that puts me at the risk of cardiac death from any viral infections. I cannot afford to be sick. Marcelo ensured me that's he's not sick, he's okay to work and there's nothing to worry about. I assumed his cough is from asthma or some acid reflux problems. Guess what? I became extremely ill last night with diffuse viral respiratory infection symptoms and now am bed bound with COVID, pneumonia and about to be hospitalized. People's health is not something to be taken lightly and played with. Imagine if they can lie to your face about this, what else they couldn't? How could you expect me to buy a vehicle from you if you know you're sick and I will be soon be sick too because you lied to and has been coughing to an immunocompromised customer who at the risk of viral infection death? If I end up with serious complications this dealership can expect to hear from my lawyer.

At pickup, the hood wouldn't open, despite their earlier promise to fix it. They charged a certification fee. Within a week, a "drive train malfunction" warning appeared. They kept the car for repairs from September 15th to the 19th. Though claimed they fixed the hood, they wouldn't specify what caused the drivetrain issue but assured its resolution. Four days later, the malfunction warning returned. Despite my concerns, the staff redirected me to their mechanic and hinted at retaliation when I expressed doubts about his honesty. All I want is a proper repair before my warranty ends and an independent inspection The Mechanic informed me that Mortoland never fixed the Hood because the cable they claimed to have replaced was not. Be careful with this place.

I happened to be shopping for a used car and this place was the first one i visited, everything was going smoothly until I tell the guy i need time to think about the price, i wasnt even haggling about it, all i said was "i need time to think about it, it's my first car so". He immediately ripped off the paper with my info on it and swear if I comeback tomorrow he will sell it to me 150$ higher than the marked price. Im sure you find it hard to believe but it actually happened. I'm not sure this was his sale tactic or he's treating me based on my race. Nonetheless, this is not how you treat your customer. His name was Sam Ahmadi. And here's another rip off thing: they won't let you test drive the car until you bought it. Take your money somewhere else if you don't want to get treated like garbage.

READ THE REVIEW BEFORE GOING!!!m THIS PLACE IS NOT RIGHT FOR WHAT THEY DO TO PPL!!…read more I read through all the reviews and to be honest there is no way these guys actually have real reviews. I say this because I had the same experience as them. I went there to look for a car I saw online. I told the guy I am paying cash and we sat down in his office. He never told me his name, but he was a middle aged Punjabi guy. The car was around $33,000. I was willing to buy it the same day except he told me my payments will be about $505 a month. I asked why he said because of the extended warranty which I wasn't even aware of. I asked him to take that off and I don't need it to which he responded to " OH NO THIS IS MANDATORY AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT. MINIMUM 1 YEAR AT LEAST FOR $3000 AS THIS IS COMPANY POLICY" I have never heard of a company police where you have to take extended warranty. I said I don't want it rather just buy the car he flat out told me no I have to take it or he cant sell me the car. So I walked out and said thank you. I later called to speak to the manager but one of the financial advisors answered so I asked him if its the company policy to buy extended warranty and he said no its optional so I explained what happened earlier and asked to talk to the manager and he said no the manager is gone they are closed but it was 30 min before closing and he just went quiet when I told him that. He then told me he works in finance and is not sure about what the policies are and hung up. Now with that being said it has happened to a lot of other people, there is no way these guys have such high reviews unless they are friends or ppl they may have paid to say these things. To be honest I would never waste my money or time at a place where the salesperson is ready to lie and scam you and when you call to complain they don't take the complain but as for your info to call you back. You been warned. Good luck.

They made sure to include everything in the price, (no hidden fees) and gave me a price for steel rims as well, should I choose to go that route. A few weeks passed before the weather turned cold and when I called again to follow up, the guy I spoke to (Cecil) remembered our email correspondence and advised me that he would have to check availability of the tires I had chosen. He called back within about 20 minutes to let me know they were still available, so I made an appointment to take my car in. I dropped my car off in the morning and since I work just down the street from them, Cecil even gave me a ride back to my office. Great service, good prices and very convenient location for me. I am confident I would have won in trial, but could not afford to take the small risk of losing and having to pay their lawyer fees, so in the end agreed to settle for $1300 against a $4200 car. Video of full story - https://youtu.be/tgXQI4JDlXU Compilation of bad online reviews - downsviewautosucks.blogspot.com More details: The clever way they ripped me off is to put in the warranty that they are not obligated to do the repairs under any time constraints. Over and over again they take it back and don't repair it, take longer and longer to respond, and just exhaust the consumer to the point of taking it somewhere else. As soon as another mechanic does work on it, the warranty is expired. Devious. The car was sold as safety and E-test certified. The engine light was on from the moment I turned it on. If an engine light is on in Ontario, it means it cannot legally pass E-test... take from this what you will. The car was under a 6-week warranty. Downsview "fixed it" 5 times, and each time the light came on within 10 km. Eran, the manager of Downsivew Auto, told me that they had replaced the "intake manifold" with a brand new part. When I finally gave up on them and took it to another mechanic, I was told that the part was not new, and that the fix done had been with a type of glue. They said the car should not have passed e-test or safety. I don't think that every car they sell is broken, but I have read enough reviews with nearly identical stories to mine to let me know that a) if they do sell a busted car, they will not acknowledge it or honour the warranty and b) it is not wise to buy from them if you don't know how to assess a car yourself. This is especially difficult because they don't let you drive them. downsviewautosucks.blogspot.com https://youtu.be/tgXQI4JDlXU
