I went to see Dr. Patel after seeing his reviews. My husband had a few growths on his head and we…read morewent to see what it was and if we should worry about it. Doctor said it was nothing and suggested freezing them and they will then fall off in 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks later we went back and showed it did not fall off. Dr. Patel said he would repeat the process and to give it 6-8 weeks. This second process of freezing was extremely painful to the point my husband left there with a severe headache. Doctor said he had to go deeper to get to the root. We listened and waited. Nothing happened. When his first process didn't work and you mention it or say anything to the contrary, he treats you like crap and walks out. I was so upset with his treatment of my husband that I told my husband we should try and find a new doctor. In the interim, my husband had to go and have replacement shoulder surgery which was bigger than we thought. Replacement Reversal should surgery was the priority. Us figuring, it's only a growth, no big deal, we can wait. By the time we went back, keep in mind the first process we had to wait 4-6 weeks, the second process 6-8 weeks and he said possibly a drop longer. So 6 weeks then 8 weeks then his shoulder surgery with therapy, I finally went back to Dr. Patel to ask him to look at a picture of the growth that he froze twice but did not fall off. He refused to see me, I asked the receptionist can you just show him meaning Dr. Pate. the picture and ask if we should return or see a different doctor. Dr Patel refused and I mean refused to look at the picture. Turned his head and said he will not look and left me in the hallway. I asked the receptionist why won't he just look at the picture and tell me what's next, what should I do. She said I'm sorry I can't help you, the doctor has refused to look at the picture because it's been a year. I tried to explain why and again was turned away. I finally went somewhere else who biopsies growths and it turns out it was cancerous and the growth was because it was not addressed properly in the first place. This is your 5 star dermatologist idiot. Dr. Patel only looks for easy patients like acne and such. Anything that remotely appears to be tough or a mistake on his part, he turns away from you. Treats you like you are a pariah, and is extremely rude and dismissive. My husband now is going through a huge surgery due to Dr. Patel's mistakes and irresponsible behavior. If you are dumb enough to go there after reading this then I guess you deserve what happens because I am warning everyone of his behavior. A smile when you first meet him is nice and but I would prefer no smile and professional and knowledgeable behavior. How about you?
