Hopson Handyman Services was there twice when I/we needed him---first, to remodel our home and a…read moresecond time, a week later, for the clean up and rebuild of our home after Hurricane Sally. Hopson came down to Mobile from north of Birmingham, AL (5 hrs to the north). Why Hopson? Hopson has the practical skill to build a house from the ground up. That means he can do carpentry, framing, mason work, plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, roofing, painting and more. He also builds fences and removes trees. He is licensed for all. Sadly, the local market lacked the skill set to do do framing. Not one could rebuild my door frame which was seriously rotted out. Plus, the tree companies in Mobile are over priced and totally not dependable. I was introduced to Hopson through Home Advisor and Hopson always did what he said and when he said he would. Hopson and his team have a strong work ethic, are very skilled, have an eye for detail, very dependable, produce high quality work, are high in integrity and priced better than anyone in the local market. Hopson carries everything on his truck to build a home from the ground up and accomplishes more than any contractor I have ever observed. The only machine that he had to lease was the bulldozer. Though, in Birmingham, he has his own. I will use Hopson for every job I have in multiple states. He and his team are superior to every craftsman I've seen and value priced. When the hurricane hit, he was the first person I called and he said, "If you need me, we will be there tonight!" Who says and does that in this day and age??? Who??? Hopson Handyman Services out of Carbon Hill, AL does. I highly recommend Hopson. I rate A++!

The owner Joe was ALWAYS professional, very friendly and stayed on top of things until the job was completely done. He was very patient & understanding, when I, as a customer, had questions. His employees were hard workers, trustworthy, respectful & seemed to be very knowledgeable about what they were doing. Joe & his guys went above & beyond to make sure the job tasks were all 100% done, the quality of the work was perfect, the job was started right on time, as we'd already scheduled for & was finished as quickly as possible. He also, of course, made sure that no matter what he had to do, that his customer (myself) was happy & satisfied with the work they performed. I'm getting ready to have interior painting done in the entire 2nd level of my home in less than a month & am so excited to be doing business with Mr. LeBerte & Mt. Olive Painting again! He's recently finished drawing up the contract for the upcoming interior work & I'll be meeting with him to sign & pay next week! I have no doubts that he'll do a wonderful job, & am 100 percent POSITIVE that I've made the BEST choice, going with him again for my painting needs. The job was went perfectly from start to finish! Joe, the owner, did EVERYTHING he promised to do, as was outlined in detail on my proposal/contract & final invoice. I will definitely be using this company again in the future. If you're looking for a professional painting company, and wanting GRADE A+ quality work for a very reasonable price, then Mt. Olive Painting is worth checking out! Before they painting my home, I requested prices from many local painting companies. Joe gave me the most attention to detail in the terms of our job agreement, and kept the price affordable! As a general rule, when gathering various different prices/estimates for a service or product, I personally NEVER go with the LEAST expensive option, because I feel like you definitely "get what you pay for" when it comes to the low quality of work, but I also don't want to choose the option with the HIGHEST price, because I want to feel like I'm getting a reasonable deal & NOT being robbed blind, so I try to choose the option that's somewhere in between. Mt. Olive Painting definitely met ALL my criteria! I don't foresee ever using another painting company other than Joe's ever again!
