One of my top choices' for quick easy Pizza delivery..Although priced a little higher than your average run-of-the-mill pizza hut or Domino's they market themselves as a 'healthier option' and 'gourmet' and they make a quality pizza with tasty toppings. Smoked Ham and pineapple, Peri Peri Chicken and lamb Souvlaki which is similar to an open souvlaki on a pizza base, won't disappoint. I was also surprised to learn they also do a great takeaway chocolate mousse. A large Pizza will set you back between $17-20 and you can also order online, customize your pizza and chose your own base.

Can you find the friggin egg in the friggin pizza? Its just cheese ham and pineapple. Crust Port Melbourne is crap.

Firstly, stepping into the restaurant, the staff are warm, attentive and treat you like friends/family. Even on my first visit here, they were hospitable and friendly. They've got terrific memories, and know you by the time you make your second visit (and believe me, you will). They really take the time to go over the specials, and answer any questions you have regarding the menu. Secondly, the decor. Yes, it's a small restaurant, but it gives it a homely feel and it's cozy on wintery nights, and open on summer nights with the big sliding French doors. It can get noisy, but not overwhelmingly so. Parking is easy; there's usually a space right outside. But I'd never come here without making a reservation first, or you could be disappointed. Thirdly, the food. It is DELICIOUS. I've never, ever had a problem with the food. It comes as you order it (i.e.. if you make any amendments, they honour it and are very obliging. Everything comes as you'd imagine; hot and as if it were homemade. It's fresh and unique. The special board is always changing and there's plenty of variety. It may be a teeny bit pricey for some, but to me, it's worth every penny. I could go on and on about how much I love it here, but I think what you should do is try it for yourself and I'm sure you'll agree with me. It's simply outstanding!!!

We found this restaurant by accident, because we were in the area, and were really craving Italian…read morefood. Being from Europe, I'm used to a more traditional type of pizza (thin crust, thin layer of toppings), so when I went ahead and ordered a large "Special" pizza... well let's just say I didn't expect to only finish half of it. The amount of toppings was just a bit overwhelming. The crust was very thin though, and not soggy at all, which was nice. I'd give the pizza a 3/5, but the service was pretty fantastic, which explains my overall ranking of 4/5. Super friendly staff, especially the girl with the blonde braid was super nice. Next time I'll definitely try their pasta, which looked amazing (and a bit more traditionally Italian :) ).

After not having eaten in too many hours, becoming cold during a night walk, and losing some energy, I saw folks gathered here and figured it must be halfway decent. Indeed, it was more than halfway decent. Had I known this was a place known for their pizza, I would've ordered that instead but it was only halfway through my meal that I noticed how much pizza was going out. But it's okay - I ordered the ravioli, a pasta dish I hadn't had in AGES and it hit the spot and did the job. Well done, Rosco.

Have you figured out I'm a fan of almost all cafes, bars and restaurants in St Kilda?…read more I think its because most of these venues realise the value and importance of superior customer service and scrumptious food to keep people coming back, usually put together with great, live entertainment. Renix is one of these places. I'm so happy I stopped bypassing it on my way to Greasy Joe's and decided to give it a go one day. Serving traditional, Italian wood fired oven pizza's and pasta. It's not a massive menu with a lot of variety, but what they do they do perfectly! Oh - and they deliver!! I've been back a zillion times since my first try and I can recommend just about anything and everything on the menu. If I had to narrow it down to a few faves they would be; the charcoal chicken gourmet pizza, the Renix special tradish pizza and the Agnolotti pumpkin pasta. The difference a wood fired oven and the best, freshest produce makes is definitely noticeable here. With a wine and beer menu, and different offerings of vodka, as well as live entertainment on weekends, Renix is definitely my most favourite and authentic Italian restaurant in all of Melbourne! (Hang on, wait, I haven't reviewed any Lygon restaurant's yet so I may have to eat my words in future!!)
