Several months ago, I found myself without a salon. I panicked, as I had been seeing the same (great) stylist since I moved to Vegas six years ago. And as much as I wasn't ready to jump into a new (hair) relationship, I was sporting some serious roots and running out of tricks to try and camouflage my grey. Even just writing that last sentence makes me cringe, so you can imagine how it felt to look into the mirror and see my Great Aunt Flora looking back at me. Something had to be done and fast. So, I did what I did when I first moved to Vegas. I turned to Yelp. I immediately found a salon, Bombshell, in my neighborhood with great reviews. I looked through their photos and decided I wanted to book an appointment with either Kasadee or Tiffany. One call later, my heart sank when I learned that both women no longer worked there. Turns out, they moved to a new salon even closer to my apartment, Crush. I dialed the new number and spoke to Tiffany (the owner of Crush Salon and former owner of Bombshell). She was so sweet and explained that she would be out of town, but encouraged me to make an appointment with Kasadee. She even told me that Kasadee is the only person she trusts with her hair. Sold. They even fit me in that same week. Now, almost eight months after my first visit, I can tell you that I love this salon. First of all, the prices are fantastic. I have never been to a salon with more reasonable prices, ever. And if you are getting color, the cut comes with. I'm not kidding. I thought Kasadee was when she first told me, but she wasn't either. So far, I've never spent over $100. That has included my color, cut, style and tip. I'm legitimately shaking my head as I type this because I still can't believe how outrageously affordable it is, but - hey - I'm not complaining! Second, Kasadee is fast. I really can't stress how much this means to me. As a working single mom, I almost always have to squeeze my hair in between work appointments, but it's never an issue because I'm always out the door in 90 minutes. And somehow she always finds a way to fit me into her schedule, even with short notice. Maybe most importantly (at least to me), both Tiffany and Kasadee really are so nice. A lot of the time, they are in comfortable gym clothes with fresh faces and their hair in ponytails. You almost feel as though you're hanging out with your girlfriends at their house. Crush Salon is just that comfortable of an environment and I love that. I even asked Kasadee a time of two if she would mind if I put my headphones in and got caught up on Pretty Little Liars (I have a sassy two year old who only wants to watch Disney Jr) and, of course, she told me to go ahead and enjoy myself. Finally, I always walk out of the salon loving the soft waves Kasadee puts in my hair. (And they last for days.) And just when I thought I couldn't be happier with Crush, I decided to switch things up and leave my ombre locks behind and return to my favorite hair color, red. I was a little nervous because I have learned that not every stylist can give me the shade of red I want. The verdict? Perfection... If you are looking for skilled, sweet stylists who will get you in and out and looking great without breaking the bank, this is the salon. I promise. read more

I've never had a problem with my hair falling out or damaging. She makes sure you're taking care of your hair and recommends moisturizing shampoos and conditioners which really helps keep all of the hair glowing! read more

Tiffany and Kasadee have completely rehabed my hair. I have been getting my hair colored here for a year and half, and they're the only people I'd ever let put extensions in my hair. They are very gentle and have taught me to take better care of my hair and they use very gentle color. My hair is the healthiest it's ever been. Extensions with Crush is the best way to let your hair grow out without having to wait! There is absolutely no damage to my natural hair and it's longer than it's been in years. Not only is Tiffany a very skilled professional she is a great listener. She really listens to exactly what her clients want but also puts in her fair input of what she's working with. She is like a hair doctor! She works with what she has at hand and works her magic :). She is incredibly fair priced, she is affable, easy to talk to and so incredibly warm. For those of you reading this review, all I have to tell you is that Tiffany is the greatest and please walk into your appointment with realistic expectations. My first appointment I was very dark haired and I'm also Asian. Our pigment in our hair is very difficult to make blonde! She talked me through it and she explained to me the damage and consequence that she could do to my hair. To this day I'm extremely blonde, if u saw me walking from the back you would think I was a white girl because my hair is long, healthy, soft and shiny blonde! That would be my greatest advice, is to please be aware of the kind of hair you have and listen to the consultation because I promise you, her recommendations are for your best interest and for the health of your hair :). I recently had an ombré done with Kasadee, and she's great! She was very friendly and made the experience very comfortable for me since I had never colored my hair before. The whole thing wasn't as expensive as I was expecting so that was definitely a plus. She did mention if I wanted to go blonder with the ends of my hair I had to wait a few weeks so it could settle, so when that time comes I'll definitely be back! :) read more

Referrals! It's the cornerstone to any small business owner as so I thought. I was referred to a hairdresser (Tiffany),I want to start off by saying my hair color is good. I was referred by my friend who has referred 2 other females to Tiffany, as most girls are I was excited to get my hair done and meet Tiffany. I walked in the room and there this was the first meeting with Tiffany, I did not feel a warm welcome. She never inquired about who I was, my family, etch She had an assistant there which was great! I believe in the power of mentoring, but it would have been nice to be introduced! When you are in a 12X12 room with 4 people, I assumed we all would be Introduced. I had asked about extensions earlier and had some concerns, but she seemed to care less. Especially when the customer next to me is getting extensions with Hair similar to mine, it was a door opener. My hair appt took 2 hours, 40 minutes, I had highlights put in back portion and she worked on another client an came back to me about 10-15 minutes later to add the rest of the foils! I was so disappointed I felt as if I was in high school! Good luck to you and your referrals in the future.
