This review is LONG overdue for Sol at Drybar because she is truly the absolute BEST…read more From the moment you sit in her chair, you can tell how patient, kind, gentle, and genuinely talented she is. As a girlie with extensions, finding someone who is careful, knowledgeable, and understands how to style them properly is an absolute necessity, and Sol exceeds expectations every single time. ‍ She somehow always knows EXACTLY how I like my hair styled, and I leave every appointment feeling confident, polished, and honestly fabulous. Her blowouts last, the styling is flawless, and her energy is so warm and calming that the entire experience feels luxurious and effortless. Not even kidding... I seriously considered gatekeeping her because she's THAT good but she deserves all the hype and recognition. If you're lucky enough to book with Sol, just know you are in the BEST hands

Okay, I've left a bad review of this location previously and ended up deleting it after having a…read moresomewhat good experience after deciding to return. The first review spoke about how the stylists discussed how difficult my hair was to blowout while working on me, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and guilty for even coming in in the first place. After that experience, I decided to give them another try and left feeling better about this location. I deleted the review and moved on. Please be aware if you have any texture or thickness in your hair, you will be disappointed. Every time I've come in, I've left notes for the staff to give them a heads up that I have thick and curly hair and to please give whichever stylist a heads up. If, for whatever reason, my hair is too challenging to work on, I'd rather them call me to tell me and cancel my appointment instead of wasting my time. Today, was my final straw at this location. It seems like no matter what, the staff is always struggling to blowout my hair. You'd think between 3 different stylists my hair would turn out looking somewhat decent.... you'd be wrong. I knew as soon as they turned me around in that chair that I'd have to come home a fix my hair, which is exactly what I had to do. The 2 stylists were in a rush to leave to their other commitments, which I totally understand. I don't mind if a stylist has to hand me off to someone else, I really don't care if that happens 5 times during my appointment, I just want my hair to look nice. But, if everyone is in a rush and there's no one to take over for them then the quality of the blowout falls through the cracks. I'm not sure if it's due to them being short staffed, or a scheduling error, or no one wants to deal with my hair, I honestly don't know, but at this point it's just getting ridiculous. Below I'm attaching a picture of what my hair looked like coming home straight from the salon. I had to go back in with a flat iron over everything. For reference, I asked for my hair to be straight. That's it. No curling, not any crazy updo or style, just straight and flat ironed. Why am I paying $70+ for something I have to come home and fix? If I wanted a crappy blowout I would've stayed home and done it myself.

I was fit in same day and it was truly one of the best blow outs I've ever had. I get extremely anxious when I go to blow dry bars because most people don't know how to handle my hair. Ashley was a pro with all the correct tools and techniques. She's a perfectionist, meticulously sectioning hair and going over with a flat iron. Her blow dryer, iron and products are the same if I do my hair at home, which means she is using correct round brush and products, and dryer and flat iron actually get hot enough. My hair has never been so silky and straight. I got so many compliments! I wish i lived closer to her so I could have her blow out my hair more often.

She gave me an overview of what we 'could' do. What she'd like to do. And asked me what I would like her to do. We discussed it and the pricing. Then she gave me information on what my outcome would be like . She let me know how much easier my styling would be and how to maintain the results until we met again for another color correction session. I came out STUNNING from that session. On our second color correction session, she again, rolled up her sleeves and got into it with communication and passion. Her art background really shines through. We both were about to pass out.. not really.. but the session was intense but we both came out champions. THAT is how you run a salon. You NEED TO KNOW. Sara is professional. She stands by her work. She is not cutting corners, running out of color and throwing another one on hoping you don't notice. She is NOT leaving your color on too long because she's triple booked. She is NOT taking 5 hours to do a root touch up and burning your face then letting you leave with wet hair. She is NOT going to let you leave with a hair cut you can't do anything with and have to cover with wigs. She is NOT going to talk trash on you when you leave because she doesn't like your clothes.
