(left to right) Farro White Bean Burger, Cape Cod Organic Farm Salad, and Pork Cheek Tacos

Crush Pad is an artisanal food truck based in Truro, Massachusetts that has been running since 2013. The venture was founded by restaurateur and chef Eric Jansen. The food truck is a spin-off of his Truro-based restaurant BlackFish, which opened in September 2007. The Crush Pad truck is exclusively parked at Truro Vineyards seven days a week. The items on the menu change almost daily, but are all prepared with farm-to-table ingredients. Some of their popular mainstays include Niman Ranch burgers, Snake River Farms Kobe hotdogs, and hand-picked lobster rolls on a brioche bun. My wife, son and I visited Truro Vineyards last week. We have visited the winery a number of times over the years. My wife and I ordered a wine flight and a spirit flight to share, but we were feeling a little hungry too. We canned Crush Pad's menu and decided to order the Farro White Bean Burger (with blue cheese), the Pork Cheek Tacos (with cumin crema, salsa verde and queso fresco), and the Cape Cod Organic Farm Salad (with little tomatoes, pistachios, Burrata and balsamic vinaigrette). We shared a little bit of everything and it was all delicious. All of the food tastes so fresh! It paired very well with our sampler flights. We really enjoyed the food from Crush Pad and would definitely order from them again. We are also interested in checking out Blackfish.

All the food was very good! We got the pesto chicken sandwich, the chorizo and potato tacos, and the Kobe beef hot dog. I rated it 4 stars because it was a little pricey for a food truck. Any condiments such as relish cost extra money.

Everything here is well priced, flavorful and on point. We had the burger the shrimp roll the hot dog, cauliflower and the onion rings. All were excellent.

Menu

Come for the fresh, delicious food! Panzanella salad with heirloom tomatoes, grilled skirt steak, burratta and watermelon was perfect. One of the best meals of my Cape trip, can't wait to come back to eat the rest of the menu!

The Crush Pad food truck on a lovely July day.

Kobe hot dogs with kimchi and bacon. Grab a painkiller at the outdoor bar and you have a perfect lunch.

If you're looking for great food and exceptional customer service Salty's is it! I cannot say…read moreenough positive things about them. The food is amazing, their attention to detail is above and beyond, and then there's Salty himself. Nicest people to work with and they take such pride in their work, as they should. No pictures of the actual pizzas and wings because we were too busy devouring it. Thank you Salty's for a great day!

First off…read moreCustomer service is BEYOND EXCELLENT, he answered all our questions, and told us he was having a Pop up the following day and he mostly does catering. Following day we got up & headed over to Kingston where he was having a Food Truck pop up and OMG - It did not disappoint, the pizza was well worth the drive, we were mad we didnt stock up and order more! We got the Steak & Chipotle and there were no complaints, burned just the way pizza should be. Flavors were all fresh, Steak was tender & well seasoned. Prices cant be beat! The team was all super friendly on site as well, will definitely be crashing every pop up he has in the future and seriously thinking of having a dinner party JUST to have the oven pull up. He has a portable wood fire oven that he hauls around - its literally the coolest set up! Run, Go Follow the page & find out when the next pop up will be and head right over, you wont be disappointed!!!

Been wanting to try this for a while. Lucky for me there was food truck near work!…read more I loved the food. I got the halal chicken with hummus and tomato and cucumber salad. It was delicious and was the perfect the lunch. The chicken and rice lived up to the name. The hummus and tomato/cucumber salad were a fresh pairing that took the chicken and rice to a new level. I wouldn't say it's the cheapest option, but it was still pretty fairly priced and you get a lot of bang for your buck. I also loved the numerous sauces they offered. The garlic sauce was awesome; kind of a Mediterranean spin on the yum yum sauce you get at hibachi restaurants. I also got BBQ, hot sauce, and mint/jalapeño/cilantro. The garlic sauce was my favorite but all were good. The service was very informative and quick. No complaints. I definitely recommend!

I had to read up on WHY this meal even exists - but really, there's no point in pondering it. Its just damned good street food. And its not only chicken - you could go veggie, or get the lamb. I always go "combo", personally. Its cheap, fast, filling, and pleasing. It has that feel of comfort food. The sauces are a nice touch - I tend to mix the "white" and the "hot hot" - especially enjoyable after a cold hike over to the truck in the winter. There's nothing not to like off of the CnRg truck.
