Turns out the owners did not take the Apple insurance but declined in my name without telling me so they could sell me their insurance! This insurance they sold me did not cover things the Apple insurance did. Apple Vacations told me that if I had their insurance, the trip would have been refunded immediately, in full. Because of the insurance they forged for me, I had to fight with everything to get my money back, they did absolutely nothing to help. The founder of Apple Vacations actually fought by my side to get my money back from the agency because the CL Travel owners, the Dougherty's, basically told me there was nothing they could do! So I was just supposed to eat the $5K I spent with them. I haven't used them since. I decided to try them again a few weeks ago after finding the Dougherty's were no longer involved. Another crap experience. I went in and told them what I was looking for but no one the receptionist asked wanted to work with me on this trip. They then put me with an older woman who had zero interest in my trip but went thru the paces to take my info. She could not have been less interested and it showed. I sat there, silently, as she typed in her computer, not asking much about the trip but doing something on her computer (solitaire?). She then said she would get back to me by email with what she found on the trip I was looking to go on. Being a big, pricey trip, I thought they might be a bit more helpful. It has been over 2 weeks and I received 1 email with minimal info for one small part of the trip, nothing else. IMHO, this agency is awful, avoid dealing with these people. I have talked to other agencies since and they have all been very excited about my trip, asking detailed questions and have put together fantastic itineraries. The difference is night and day. I am not sure how they stay in business if this is how they treat potential customers.

Rose did an excellent job selecting the right cruise line for us and arranging everything we needed. Every step of the way on this 18-day adventure was taken care of. We were met at Heathrow Airport by a private driver holding a sign with our names and were taken to a five-star boutique hotel within walking distance to Buckingham Palace and all the main attractions. Our cruise stateroom included a larger balcony and was in the perfect location. The excursions were amazing as well as the on-board entertainment. Again seamless return back to the hotel and private driver back to Heathrow. This was a memorable once in a lifetime bucket list trip that we will always remember thanks to Rose!

She was very thorough and very professional. Gave me all the prices and information about the cruise. I appreciated Linda, who took the time and effort to get me what I wanted. We held the space and the next day I deposited on the cruise. She told me that if I had any other questions to call her. Leaving that office I felt satisfied that I got the best deal. I will certainly refer her to my friends and family.

Within seconds you will see all warnings to not visit Costa Rica in October because it will torrential downpour DAILY. We were so confused as to why our travel agent wouldn't tell us "hey, its probably going to rain every single day on your romantic trip" so we decided to cancel. We bought insurance so we assumed it would be no issue. Before we even had the chance to call and cancel we received an email form Pat saying OUR RESROT WAS CLOSING DOWN. So she told us she moved us to another hotel (that we couldn't even approve). When we called to simply cancel our trip (again-INSURACE), we were told we would not get our money back (the downpayment for the trip). We were told the ONLY way to get our money back is if we rebook with her company. Right. Because we are going to rebook our honeymoon with a company that was going to send to a romanic week of drowning in Costa Rica. I guess now I'm just slightly confused at what a travel agent does that a quick google search+travel sites cant do?

Bernie asked if we were active military and at that time we said no but my husband has served for 10 years she indicated there was no discount available. Our honeymoon was just shy of $9,000... That is a $900 mistake. She indicated she would give us $400 back and a discount on future travel. When the check arrived the letter that accompanied indicated that she would not be offering us any future discounts and made it sound like we had asked for a discount after the fact. So disappointed in her lack of knowledge regarding the products she sells and revoking of promises.
