I brought my rv in for a few repairs. They said they will happily take care of everything we spoke about. They provided us with a scope of work and we signed the part that said "provide a written quote of work will be more than $150". We signed that part because we have a warranty that would cover work but needed to be submitted prior to work being done. - Wobble when driving - - they said they pulled off the front two tires, tried to balance them, could only balance 1 - they said that we should buy two new tires, we agreed. - we later found out the shop doesn't have the ability to take tires off this size rv, they never took them off, they don't have the machine to balance new ones. No payment for this surprise. - new control arm - - we asked them to replace it as it had bad rubber on connection - they said absolutely, no problem - a week later we find out they never ordered the part, they don't have the ability to replace that part, like they don't have the ability to do the job at all in any way, no payment for this -blower- - we ask them to diagnose and let us know before ANYTHING AT ALL is done. Remember, we have a warranty that would cover this, so we were very specific about this. Signed the document to tell us if it goes above $150. - they remove one drawer, reach behind it and plug the blower motor back in as it wiggled lose. - $1,000. They charged us $1,000. They said we authorized 6 hours of work. We called the manufacturer to determine the amount of time it should have taken. They wrote out an email explaining in detail that not to just plug it back in, but to REPLACE the whole thing, is one hour of labor. The owner is a liar. The owner is an insecure 70 year old man with a failing business and health and is desperate to make a dollar. Do not go here. Do not trust them. Please do your research before using this mechanic and ask for proof of work done. We were charged an absurd amount of money for a service that they have no proof was completed. After requesting the details again from the mechanic they informed us he had been fired because of the issues he had with our vehicle. The owner laughed at us when we asked for proof that the work was done. When we asked a second time he told us to "get the F out of his shop. I will just put a mechanic lein on the vehicle". We do not have the time to fight in court so we paid and left. This place is unfair and the owner will die to protect his ego. I wish we could say something about the service but we don't know if anything has been completed. They also decided to randomly require cash payments after the fact because they had too many people rescinding their credit card payment and winning. read more

Had my tranny rebuilt by them. Tranny failed 3 times within 6 months. After 1.5 years tranny failed again. Had it rebuilt by another shop that got it right the first time. Stay away from Cruise N Cool!!!! It's not worth your hard earned money. You'll regret it!!!! read more

Hello Chris, It was a pleasure meeting you today about replacing my rear A/C evaporator in my 2003 GMC Savana 1500 Conversion Van and for your quick diagnosis of adding an auxiliary fan to the A/C condenser to resolve the issue of the AC not cooling when in idle. Two different GMC Dealerships in Fort Lauderdale had me spend together almost $4,000.00 in replacing all of my AC System twice in the last two years. All of my adult life I have always gone to the the dealerships of my vehicles thinking they would be the most knowledgeable for the repairs but most of them now plug in their reader into the car computer to be told what the issue is and just replace it. If they run into an issue that is not answered by the computer reader they just replace parts per trial and error. I have taken my car to Cruise N Cool a couple of times for a rear end problem. My rear end sat low and I began shredding tires. First time they replaced the tires and said nothing else. Second time took it for same issue. They recommend the bushings we're worn and needed to be replaced. Along with new set of rear tires. We continued to watch the tires in the rear before any damage again. The rear end did not feel secure and made a knocking noise. Plus, the rear still sat damn low!! New springs and spring extenders this round. Cheapest possible springs. The car performed no better and they kept car 3 weeks. I finally had to take yo another shop. They immediately told me that the bolts to adjust the rear end were seized up and had not been touched. The rear end of the car was soaked in some treatment to help break the bolts. It soaked for two days but they got them off and the new shop finally replaced the bushings, real springs and properly aligned the car with a printout of the alignment. I would not take any vehicle of mine to this shop. Beware!! read more

My husband took our car there for tires. I couldn't believe that they replaced all four tires when I had just replaced two of the tires about 30-45 days ago. The manager is a slick talker, but when it came down to the finished product, their work is severely substandard. Take your car anywhere else, this place is a joke! They took one full day just to look at my brakes, and then they could not give me a reasonable estimate! A total waste of time! Rich is a very good listener and very honest about what was wrong with my car. We talked set up day for the mechanic to review my car and at that point I was sold. For every item that was wrong on my car was discussed and pricing was available. Every worker at Cruise N' Cool were very pleasant to communicate with about my car and they also provided transportation to take be back home each time. Shout out to Lee the driver, he's a very friendly, good conversationalist young man and you you don't find that nowadays with companies. When I returned my car for actual surgery date they were right there and ready. i've been coming here for over 3 years and always get the honest and most economical repair quotes. I bring my 2006 Toyota Highlander & 2009 Mini Cooper in for service. I have had brake work, oil changes, and bought tires and the prices could not be beat. The work is done quickly (oil change without appointment took 25 minutes and this includes fluid, filter, & tire checks and wiper replacement). Tire purchase includes recommended tire rotations at no charge. All service work warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles which is longer than most other repair shops. I have read the negative reviews about cruise and cool. First off, as an aircraft mechanic for over 28 years I can see that most people simply don't understand things mechanical. This short story says it all, I brought them a 1991 Volvo with an air conditioner leak. They fixed the leak only to find out a few days later the system was leaking again. I asked them to repair or replace every component in the system, i.e. Compressor, condenser, evaporator, etc. I dropped the car off only to receive a phone call in the afternoon advising that my best bet was to bring the car to a Volvo specialist and was given a refund of $250, the total prior bill. They have since rebuilt my transmission on my Volvo which to this day shifts like a new transmission. Five months after the work the radiator they replaced developed a leak and without question they replaced it without charge. The owner may come off a little rough but at the end of the day he is a down-to-earth honest guy. I highly recommend them. They are trusted by Comcast to handle their fleet. My father went here when other family members ran it and thought it was great so then I went felt the same way. This was well over 18 years ago. Very very sad to see how bad it is now. a real long story you would find shocking but I will keep it short. We were told 1100.00 and a one day job, next day they said the part guy delivered the wrong part was gonna order from someone else. Ok, day 2 the the other guy delivered the wrong part as well. Day 3 he found the part but now it would be 2500.00.We got the part from a salvage company and he said he would put it in for 4 or 5 hundred. Day 8 we picked up the car drove down the street and the radio, and navigator did not work and flashing theft. They knew this but did not tell us and when my husband called they said Honda will fix it for free. Well that was not true,175.00.Long story short the air worked for 3 days, now blowing warm. He was not going to help us what so ever and could really care less. He did not have to guarantee the part but the other parts guy would not give us a new part because he destroyed the part by attaching dirty parts to it. We now have to go take it to the Honda dealer and will cost 2800.00 on top of almost 1100.00 we spent .Sad to see this place go to crap, this man is a embarrassment to the family business. Do NOT Go To This Establishment!! All of the other "complementary" reviews are plants by this establishment's friends and they are not to be believed. I am about to file suit against this establishment as they have broken off contact with me and do not stand by their shoddy work. (I'm sure that they're ready to denigrate me and this review and offer will offer up some excuse to potential customers. Don't fall for it.) They lie, entice you with Initially low prices, do not finish your vehicle in anything resembling a timely bases, and they physically and mechanically break things, leaving your car worse off (they did not fix the original head gasket problem and I had the car competently repaired with a warrant at a Toyota dealership a few months later) In my case they returned my car 1) with no oil pressure on the gauge, 2) no air conditioning refrigerant (though said they would address this before I picked up the car (they didn't,) 3) manhandled and broke the seat recline switch and 4) used aftermarket parts even though I expressly required that they use Toyota brand parts, 5) returned the car with no operating headlights, 6) store my car stereo, 7) stole my Toyota first aid kit, 8) stole my Toyota emergency kit (jumper cables, etc.), 9) refused to show me the "old" replaced parts (they told me that they were 'destroyed" and then, after getting testy, asked me to "leave" and "get out." None of these things were problems before they took possession of the car. They took twelve months to repair my car, though they would claim that they couldn't get in touch with me for a period of time (I was in the hospital four times with a broken leg.) When they couldn't contact me they engaged my 74 year old mother, threatened her with a fake "mechanics lean" which they said that they had though they didn't and never attempted to get (despite the fact that they couldn't since my car is registered in Pennsylvania and not Florida.)The fact is that they were prepaid (which, too me seems unprecedented,) and then extracted more money out of my mother under false pretenses while I was unavailable. As if matters couldn't be worse, they filled out a state form perjuriously (they lied) and presented it to a court in Miami to illegally obtain a new Title (ownership papers) to my car, making it difficult for me to re-register my car in my home state of until this issue was resolved, which required many phone calls to police, prosecutors, and motor vehicle personnel in both states. This action is a car theft. Just because I got I physically have the car doesn't mean that a cat theft didn't occur. If someone steals a car and they return the car a week later, they have still committed felony car theft. I stand by every word in this review.
