No working fridge, no working door, no working television, half empty & leaking propane tank, the…read morelist goes on and on. I don't even know where to begin. Our friends rented from this place a few weeks ago & had such a bad experience with the camper having so many issues but we gave them a chance anyways because we have owed campers and know that sometimes things happen. The reviews were good & the RV itself looked nice from the photos... we were very naïve. We got to the rental place & no one there even knew what camper we were there to pick up I had to show them my reservation on the RVeazy app. The gentlemen then brought us over to the camper and did not initiate any inspection which is required when renting on Rveazy so I went ahead and did it myself. There was a very significant amount of physical damage to in exterior and interior of the camper but all in all it looked decent enough and we wanted to get back on the road. By the time we got to where we were going, set up & started the generator & propane we noticed quickly that the fridge and freezer were not getting cool whatsoever. We gave it over 2 hours and then I contacted Wendy to let her know that it was not working and we also realized that the camper door did not latch shut either. She told me nothing she could do until the morning when her mechanic could call us back. We therefore went from 5pm to 11am with nowhere to store our perishable goods. When her mechanic called us the next day he requested photos and videos of what was not working that we provided immediately to him & to Wendy. We kept as much as we could on ice in the coolers we brought it in but that could only do so much in 80 degree weather. So now we were out $100 worth of good, could not get the camper door to shut or stayed closed and when we thought things could not get more frustrating my daughter went to go sit at the kitchen area only to have her leg stabbed by a nail sticking out of the wood behind the kitchenette. After we saw what happened we looked at the wood to see DOZENS on nails and staples poking out and we were furious at this point. My husband went to check the generator and propane tank to just to realize that we had already gone through almost the entire propane tank in less than 20 hours which is absurd. We took it off and immediately could smell that it was leaking so we contacted the company again and they gave us the run around how the tank they gave us wasn't full because they just added it to our reservation for free which was false because there is an added $25 for propane on our rental agreement. We had to not only drive 40 in away from our camp site now to get food for us and our daughter but also to have to purchase a new propane tank. All all in this was a nightmare and the only thing that made it worse was Wendy the owner gaslighting me the entire time and basically saying we don't know how to use a camper and we should have kept our food in the cooler inside out car so it didn't go bad. Keep in mind, I made her aware of our food spoiling on Friday around 8pm, only 4 hours into our rental and she waited until Sunday when I requested money back for the propane she charged us for that was leaking, the propane we had to go out and buy and for some of our food that went to waste due to her fridge & freezer not working and her response to me was atrocious. She DEMANDED I send her photos of our food in trash bags that we had to throw out, and to send proof to her of the injury to my daughters leg. She also said "well from the photos and videos you sent on Saturday of the fridge not working and blinking there was not much food in the fridge to begin with.".... YEAH BECAUSE IT ALL WENT BAD AND WAS IN THE GARBAGE! She is a diabolic and dishonest person to say the least & I am writing this obnoxiously long review to WARN ANYONE thinking of renting from this company or from Wendy on RVeazy in Walden NY to stay away and please save yourself a huge headache and a lot of money.

I'd been in them before but never drove or operated one…read more When our refrigerator never got cold and the heat never came on (no hot water either) we thought "Maybe this is as cold and hot as it gets?" Turns out - despite what we were told when we picked it up - "My Mom turned on the propane so the refrigerator will be cold for you!" - the propane (which runs the refrigerator and heat) HADN'T been turned on. We spent half the rental period bundled up to stay warm and taking cold showers. I finally went and checked and the cap for the propane refill inlet was off and the valve was completely closed. Yes, of course, I should've checked myself right away. But I believed them when they told me it had been done. We made the best of it but it was cold where we were staying and some heat would've been nice. The worst part? When I called to make sure they got the keys I told them about the propane and the most they could muster was "I'll make a note of it." No "Sorry!" nor offer or a few dollars off the bill. While we were at the event for which we rented the RV we found out about another place nearby that we'll try next time. Cruise America lost a customer.

The same people still work there. You'll even smell the same sulphur smell from the nasty bathrooms in the showroom. The above pictures are of our 2008 Winnebago View that I took to the Campers Barn for repairs after it was side swiped while parked. The pictures are of the COMPLETED $17,000 repair job the campers barn bodyshop did. The bodyshop manager Mike Kahle blamed the amazingly sub par quality workmanship on the Martin Senour paints and clears they used and on the humid weather. I was forced to take the RV 180 miles round trip back and have them make repairs to their original repairs. We had paid in full already so the urgency to please us was GONE. After 11 days of sitting in the yard they finally got our RV back in the shop. They promised a detail job because they had originally given the RV back to us in a fithly state. Unfortunately, Mike later told me the Campers Barn doesn't even have a detailer on staff! Yet, they advertise on their website that they offer professional detailing?! WTF guys? After spending $17,000 they didn't even have the decency to wash the outside or even a quick sweep on the inside. The service manager Chris Byron was aware of our problems. He didn't have the deceny to respond to my emails. Their workers use the bathrooms in the customers RVs too! No joke. Look at the photos I posted above of the human waste on our toilet. That was NOT there when I left the RV. That's how they gave our RV back to us... with employees crap on our toilet. PLEASE FOLKS, BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOU LET WORK ON YOUR RV!

Alex and Elyse provided my wife and I with a 4 day itinerary for our trip to the Hudson Valley. They also gave us a number of places where we could safely park our camper overnight. While the weather was not 100% cooperative we had a great time "roughing" it and got a chance to see the town of Beacon and also visited the Dia! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!…read more I recently had a terrible experience with RV #14. A $3200 week long family vacation became pure hell on wheels. After voicing my concerns below to the owner, her solutions were A. Drive back 5 hours and swap out the RV for a far smaller one; or B. Cut our long planned trip short, eat our money on the camp site and theme park reservations we had and she would give us a refund just for the rental. Was not willing to bring another RV to us, which given the cost of the rental doesn't seem like a big ask. Very apparent we were inconveniencing her by letting her know of all the issues with the RV. Issues: - Bathroom door divider broke off the hinge 1 hour into driving. - Rear Interior Tire blew out 2 hours into driving (Emergency Services said it could of been avoided with proper inflation). - Black water tank was still full upon initial hookup. - Toilet backed up due to very old feces build up. - The TV wiring was all disconnected. - AV system not properly hooked up. - Left outside awning speaker blown out. - No Direct TV installed despite being advertised. - Greeted to filth underneath the slide out after extending. - Wheel alignment was messed up out of the gate. - GPS Informatics Unit's USB kept disconnecting and reconnecting. Also does not charge phone. - Door to the slide-out pantry next to the fridge was jimmy-rigged together; Did not hold up within the first day. - Bunk above the drivers seat smelled like mold. - Zone 2 of the AC (Front Cabin Area) seems to need Freon. - Due to the tire blowout, the slides wiring was damaged. Lost a day waiting for a mechanic. - Filth every where, the wall between the pantry and bathroom had brown stains all over it. - Owner purposely disconnected the leveling jacks, making for an unleveled experience on site. - External side marker lights were inoperable prior to the tire blow out. Warning: The mechanic who fixed the slide-out warned there are a lot of disconnected wires underneath the RV that were purposely disconnected. He said he had not seen a newer RV in such disrepair before. Even if the owner wants to reconnect the leveling jacks, he doubts they would work due to no fluid in them and poor maintenance. DO NOT RENT RV #14 (Largest C class she has) About the owner: - Customer Service is not her pedigree - Relies on you watching her terrible videos for operation instructions instead of taking the time to personally walk you thru the RV. - Makes up pricing on the fly. - Rude - Did I mention rude? Insinuated my wife dyes her hair for no reason what-so-ever! *** Anyone who sublets their RV's to her be leery. She does not take care of your vehicle as she claims to. Our trip was a test run to purchase an RV and possibly use her for consignment. She gave us a load of BS about how she takes care of them like they are her own. I'd hate to see how she treats the things she owns. I am glad this miserable experience occurred though because I wound up not going the consignment route. Had I had done so , I would be taking her to court if I found out she had not cared for it like she hadn't for my recent rental.*** PS: They have two accounts on Yelp! for some reason.
