You ever watch documentaries or highlights of athletes and you think, wow they made them look…read moreiconic, how did they do that? Well after watching our wedding video that this amazing team has done for us, I cannot believe how great they made us look! Let's start from the very beginning ... As our wedding date was set, my girl and I were looking for a great videography team that had style, had passion and also had experience with the venue we were having our wedding at. After looking through our venue's IG page, a specific video caught my eye and it happened to be done by the wonderful FilmLife team. I had already reached out to 2 other videography teams and as we spoke with each of these videography teams, it was easy to choose FilmLife. First off, the first interaction with FilmLife was genuine; upon meeting a very friendly Trenton, he asked very specific questions that were outside of the wedding plans as well as related to the wedding plans to gauge what kind of couple we are. As soon as both Trenton and us realized we had good chemistry and that this would be a fun day to be around each other, it was an easy decision. I really appreciated this vetting process because you want to be comfortable from both behind and in front of the camera. The other videography teams were very "cookie-cutter", they didn't ask much about us other than our dates and we never got to speak with the videographer who'd work with us, it was just yes we'll take you and here's what it'll cost. Trenton sat down and took time out of his day to also see if we'd be a couple he'd shoot with and after an hour call that felt like 10 minutes, it was an easy decision. We went through the packages that FilmLife had and FilmLife was very flexible and understanding of what we were looking for. As weeks went by and the wedding date approaching, Trenton sat down with us through zooms and was able to help craft our story, customized to us with questions about us as a couple, our history, what our future looks like and what we are excited for at the wedding. These types of questions help with your own vows and we appreciated having these sessions to help truly understand why we were getting married. May I also say that Trenton always had enthusiasm with these sessions; we understand that Trenton and his wife and team were very busy because of their schedule but our sessions always felt as if the wedding was tomorrow and FilmLife was eager to shoot. The wedding day comes in and Trenton arrives with another videographer, the man Jacob. These two provide the game plan that had been reviewed multiple times before the day but it felt like everything flowed smoothly. Trenton would be with us for one part and then Jacob as well and the duo just had great chemistry working with each other as well as our wedding party. It was just fun all around. Never did we felt like we were in front of a camera, but also when Trenton and Jacob were able to chat, they felt like just one of our friends hanging out. When it's your wedding day, you're bound to feel the jitters of the day but with the all stars of Trenton and Jacob, you felt calm and loose and just overall excited. Plus both these guys hit all the highlights we wanted them to record and after a long and fun and momentous day, both Trenton and Jacob showed enthusiasm, a sense of style and eye for the moment and were extremely professional. Finally wrapping up, we received our sneak peeks sooner than we thought and we were astonished as to how amazing FilmLife made our day look. Trenton found the perfect music for our trailer and we shared with all our friends and they all were equally impressed. The hard work and long hours FilmLife put into our day showed immediately and we are just so grateful that Trenton and Jacob were able to spend the day with us to capture our memories. If anyone is getting married and wants the Jedi of videography, there really is no equal. Thank you FilmLife, we are so thankful and grateful for your hard work throughout this process and your big smiles at our wedding and even to this day! Wish you guys the best!

We cannot recommend FilmLife enough! We didn't just want a video, we wanted a true reflection of our love and the joy we felt. Trenton & Bethany delivered that and more--they captured every meaningful moment beautifully and seamlessly. Like many couples, we had concerns going into the process. Our biggest fear was finding someone who was just in it for the money and wouldn't give us the attention our special day deserved. Trenton completely put those worries to rest. He and his wife took the time to get to know us--not just as clients, but as people--so that they could understand our story and what we wanted out of our wedding film. It was clear that they genuinely cared about creating something amazing for us, and that dedication was evident in the final product. The process was so much more than just shooting our wedding. The Storybuilding Session was one of the highlights for us and allowed them to get a sense of our past and our vision for the future, making sure everything was planned to capture the essence of our love. We would have probably waited until the last minute to write our vows, and they wouldn't have been nearly as meaningful as they were without the guidance we received. On the wedding day itself, Trenton and his team was absolutely incredible. They worked seamlessly with our timeline and made sure they captured all of our dreams for the day. They were flexible, adaptable, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We didn't have to worry about a thing--we could just focus on enjoying our day while knowing we were in good hands. When we finally received our wedding film, we were blown away. It beautifully showcases the effortless joy of our day, capturing moments of love, laughter, and emotion in such a genuine and natural way. We couldn't be more grateful for the care and effort they put into every detail. And to top it all off, FilmLife went above and beyond by providing us with extra photos, a longer video, and even a same-day edit--none of which we had asked for or paid for. Their generosity truly showed how committed they are to making every couple's experience special. If you're considering FilmLife for your wedding, don't hesitate. We know that budget can be a concern for many couples, but we can honestly say that every penny spent was worth it. The memories they've helped us create are priceless, and we will cherish this film forever. It's something that our loved ones, children, and even grandchildren will be able to watch and treasure for years to come. We wholeheartedly recommend FilmLife to any couple looking for a wedding videographer who will go above and beyond to capture the magic of their day. Their attention to detail, personal approach, and outstanding work made our wedding day even more unforgettable. You won't regret choosing them!

Others in attendance made other style lamps but the glass dome was the common denominator and you could upgrade before you started if you wanted to. Elisa was our instructor and she was very charming and a fun facilitator. During the workshop we received Turkish tea and a sample of Turkish delight candy. It was a nice touch to round out the day. The entire project comes in a box and you work on the glass globe in class with your pattern, glue and tweezers all included. Prices vary on what project you pick ranges from $50-$150. It's totally worth the value for a 2.5 hr class. Good for any craft skill levels. I would say ok for teenagers and up but not for smaller kids. You have to be careful with your glass globe as well as the very small glass and mirror pieces. I took pictures to show the workshop and some of our progress. We finished gluing the glass patterns on and only need to finish off with the plaster kit at home to complete the globe and assemble our Aladdin's Lamp. A great day with your bestie if you enjoy a craft project like this or interested in a crafting challenge.

Nothing about the actual pictures costing extra until AFTER the photo shoot was already done... "Oh, I'll send you a pricing sheet later." Never received it. Got proofs back after two weeks, chose the ones we want, THEN she tells us they're essentially $100 each photo, minimum of 3 photos in the cheapest package. WHAT?? So between the lack of communication, the money we lost to the sitting fee, the amount of time I spent driving to her location (2hrs each way), time and money spent on outfits and the cake, we could not justify spending another $300 for only 3 pictures. We decided it would be time and money better spent to just redo the shoot with another photographer and call it a loss. I'm beyond angry. I booked with her despite hearing stories from mutual friends about their bad experiences and her lack of professionalism. Don't trust other reviews here, most are her friends and family.

Emily has gone above and beyond to capture the special moments of my now husband and I. I remember the first moment when I spoke with her, and from that one phone conversation, I knew that she and I would not only share the same vision for photography (how I would like my pictures to be captured and how she captures photographs), but also become friends!! our first phone conversation was about four months prior to the wedding, and I had not done anything to plan for it! I am a busy resident physician, and I also wanted to plan my own wedding, but I didn't know where to start! So on that day, in between me seeing patients, Emily and I had a really brief phone conversation, where she said three simple words, "I got you!" Since that fateful day, she has not given us a dream engagement photo shoot (at the very beach in which my husband, and I fell in love with in Malibu, the El Matador state Beach!) but also our very special moments on our special wedding day! In the middle of me getting pulled in different directions even on that wedding day... the minute she walked in with her team, I felt sense of calm and comfort, knowing that she was there to make sure that even though I couldn't remember everything that was happening that day because it was so busy, I trusted that she would be able to make sure I could remember those details later on in photographs! Aside from her warm heart and truly genuine personality, her work is fantastic! My husband and I have a very particular vision and preference for the type of photographs that we would like, and she fits that and more! If you look through her portfolio on her website or on her Instagram, you can see the brightness that she exuberance in her own personality onto her art. The way she captures the light is so unique, and she truly is the most talented photographer that I've ever come across. Therefore, I follow my gut and knew that she is the best of the best! I cannot wait until she continues to capture more delicate moments of our lives as I hope to continue to get to know her as well personally because she truly is one of the most special people on this universe!
