Saw a used Sigma DP1M on their website (which I have been looking for for ages), called the store to put it on hold and told them I will be there in 1 hour to get it. When I arrived, what I saw is a guy walking out with the very same camera I asked to put on hold. I immediately asked the sales lady why they sold it when it is on hold for me and is there anything they can do. Instead trying to do anything (such as trying to talk to guy bought it to working something out), the sales lady just told me she sold it accidentally & there is nothing they can do and just let the guy walked out. Gotta say the handle the situation extremely poorly and I was very upset & disappointed. Even the smallest attempt trying to fix this (e.g. talking to the guy bought it, at least trying) will change my view completely, but the store chose to do absolutely NOTHING, not even trying. The whole thing definitely ruined my day. I did buy another camera from them after I calmed myself down. They may have good customer service but that doesn't change the fact the store dealt with the situation very unprofessionally and left a customer slightly traumatized, which is terrible for any shop to do.

My camera's charger had broken and he set out all my options and was nothing but sincere and genuine. He gave his recommendation and I took it like it was golden. He put the time into helping me so I had no hesitation in taking his word for it. I ended up buying a new charger there and he was nice enough to knock ten dollars off the original price. What a great guy! I thanked him as sincerely as I could but I hope that this small gesture can repay him for his generosity and helpfulness. I went in here with him once when I was considering stepping up from the cheap digital camera that I've got to something a bit more capable when it comes to taking good pictures. So here I was, being slightly bewildered with the range (and price) of cameras available. I found the guy there to be very helpful and attentive to my needs, but I didn't end up buying anything, spending more money on my PC instead. If I ever did have the spare cash and the inclination, I'd definitely feel good about making a purchase here.

He lays your baby on a white sheet of paper and proceeds to snap photos of your baby with her eyes closed, drool coming out, mouth open etc. etc. until he finally gets one shot of baby that'll be accepted by the passport office. It took a few days, but I soon had my camera back, good as new. The cost to repair it would have probably brought me a new fairly decent camera, but overall I was glad to have my camera back. The owner (I think?) was really nice, and helpful. He talked me through the issues, and what was wrong with it, and estimated the cost to fix (it actually ended up being a bit cheaper than I was quoted).
