This is actually a real salon as well. We spent some time talking to the owner Jeff who was so friendly explaining how his salon came all together. It was amazing to hear how this museum got created. Part of the museum features over 3000 vintage displays dating back to the 1940's with hairdryers, posters and advertisements, mannequins with all kinds of unique curlers, a one person sauna that looks like it came from the 1950's and many vintage dolls like Farrah Fawcett. The dolls have been well preserved and still in their boxes. Jeff has been collecting these items he told me for over 19 years. The rest of the salon is working. You can make an appointment for all hair services here and be surrounded by all this nostalgia. Outside in the back of the salon I found all these 1960 hair dryers. It was just wild seeing all these historical hair tools. I had so much fun touring around this museum and talking with Jeff. Vibe is well worth a stop just to step back in time and enjoy a giggle.
