Apparently, the tag was in the wrong place. She called the manager because I wanted them to honor the mistake. He said go ahead and I thanked him for doing so. The cashier was rude again. Saying how long it would take for her to override each roll. I was super aggravated with her at that point. She then asked me if I was a teacher, yep. Instant discount. I ended up with 20 rolls for about 14 bucks! I was super excited. I still enjoyed my experience although I got a rude cashier. Lacking star is due to her and the insanely long line behind me.

She said it could be 6 mo to a year, but there would be no problem in getting me what I wanted...crickets after that. Not a word. I am so disappointed. It has now been TWO years. I believe at this point, I was sized up and not taken as a serious buyer because the items that we had purchased before were not expensive. enough to put me on a "serious buyer list". We got to the store around 2pm and the store manager, Justice, was super helpful and knowledgeable about everything in stock. We ended up getting a sofa and full mattress set with bed frame. The best thing was they have same day delivery for $80 (paid to the driver) and we had our furniture by 7pm that day. Lots of options for mattresses and sofa/loveseat sets at good prices. We ended up buying a dresser and dining set elsewhere but they have some nice pieces here too. Definitely check out American Freight when you're in need of furniture in Baton Rouge!

A…read moremonth or so ago, I had a good friend of mine visit the shop to get a few of his pistol parts cerakoted and an optic mounted onto his slide. He had placed the cerakote order a week before getting the optic mounted. As the story goes, the typical owner was out of town when he went to get his optic mounted. The fill in guy, when mounting the optic, accidentally scratched the new finish on the top of the optic using a T handle screwdriver. My buddy had realized the accident after leaving that day. So, he called the shop back to see how it could be handled, hoping to get a minimum deal on the cerakote/ an apology. He did not. The fill in said to call back once the owner got into town and when he did he was met with a swift rude attitude. Instead of "hey man, I heard what had happened, I'm sorry, let's figure out how to make this right" he was met with " yeah, what do you want? A new optic?". The shop owner did order him a new optic and when it came in he was still acting like a total prick instead of treating my buddy like a human being. In the end, shop owner was out $400 and refused to cerakote the original parts that was agreed upon. I just feel as if the situation could have been handled differently considering it was an accident. Hostile attitude was unnecessary.
