My organization is a non-profit and we entered a contest for Crown Point Design to win a year of marketing support and website design. We are a small non-profit with only one paid employee and did not have the funds or expertise for effective website design. While we were not selected, Crown Point Design generously offered to redesign our website anyway. Working with Scott and Rachel was a pleasure and I have been continuously surprised by their ongoing generosity to help with any issues that arise or new items to be added to our site. They have been both responsive and pro-active. I would recommend this business to anyone. This level of support is what I would expect if I were paying for a service and Crown Point Design invested their time and expertise simply out of a desire to support their local community and a small non-profit. read more

I've worked with Crown Point Design for about a year now. I was quite ambitious in building my own web site on WordPress. However, I couldn't do all the back-end fixes myself. I had a vision of what I'd like to do on my website but I just couldn't do it myself. I needed someone who understood how I was struggling and help me dig myself out of the abyss. Scott has been very patient, responsive and knowledgable. He listens and offers solutions. He has helped me consistently with optimal service. I'm always relieved after talking with Scott! He makes promises that he keeps in a timely manner. My web site wouldn't be what it is today without his TLC! I recommend Crown Point Design for your web site needs. Give them a call! I found them, initially, on YELP! Now is the time to pass on the good vibes and sense of relief! read more

My experience with Scott and Crown Point Design was fantastic! I had high expectations for my website and my perfectionist tendencies came out in full force during the process of creating this site. Scott not only met my every expectation but actually exceeded them on some accounts. There is no one I could recommend more highly than Crown Point Design! I actually chose CPD because of their yelp reviews and I definitely made the right decision in doing so. I couldn't be more proud of how my website and logo look. I found Crown Point Design through a friend and was happy to be recommended their service. I was in the process of starting up my start-up company and with their reasonable prices, I decided to work with them for a functioning website. Paul and Rachel were quite dependable, and was always available whenever I had any minor details that I wanted to add. It felt like my project was given high priority and I love that about their service. I am also happy that they offered me to use Wordpress for the website. This allows me to update it whenever I need it. I would definitely hire again in the future because of their work ethic, dependability and professionalism. They know what they're doing! read more

Great work, great turnaround time. I am a college friend of Scott's and had asked him for a quick tweak of my website as a personal favor. What he came back with farrr surpassed my expectations. Keep in mind this was a "favor" I asked of him. Scott is diligent and flat-out smart. As a small business owner, I wouldn't use anyone else. He makes me feel comfortable that the work he does couldn't possibly be done better. - Jim Mariano, Owner - www.NewtonTents.com read more

It's been a bit over a year since I had Scott and Crown Point Design rebuild my site, and I'm happier today than I was back then, and I was very happy then. My site gets about 900-1000 hits a day, most just looking for information on our site, but we're getting about 8% of those hits actually contact us for more information. From that, we're able to convert a large percentage to actual paying and repeat customers. With Scott's help, we send out a weekly 'Thank You for Contacting our Site' email, and then a monthly newsletter. We are a small freight broker, and for a number of Google searches, our site actually comes up in the top spot over national carriers!! Awhile back, I complained to Scott about getting all these phone calls from people who thought we were XYZ Carrier, and then he made me realize what a GOOD thing that was, since our site was coming up on top, ahead of them. Our sales will about double in 2011 over 2010, and since we are a web-based business, much of that success can be attributed to Scott and his design of our site. read more

Our experience with Crown Point Design has been 5 stars since we started working with them earlier this year. They took our ideas and concepts and turned them into a reality. They were quick in their work and communication and gave us a very positive experience for having never developed a professional website before. We have had nothing but positive feedback from our industry regarding our website. Check us out at: http://locumsunlimited.com/ We highly recommend Crown Point Design! read more

Found these guys because of the glowing recommendations on Yelp, and I must say exceeded my already lofty expectations. Let me start by saying that I am on slower end of technological savviness spectrum but I do know what I am looking for when navigating through a business website: something sharp, user-friendly, easy to navigate, while still reflecting the standard of my company's product (clothing retail). Crown point design delivered in all of these areas. They made the endeavor seem collaborative even though it was 95% Scott executing his vision once I explained what I was looking for with the commercial website. He was always a phone call away during the entire process of the site being built. Their customer service was second to none, and I'm not surprised by the level of praise they have gotten on Yelp. It is well deserved. read more

Look no further for web design in San Diego. Crown Point Design helped me launch a new WordPress based website with a custom design and I couldn't be happier. Working with their web design team was easy. I enjoyed going directly to their office in Pacific Beach to guide the web designers on my vision. It is important to have a strong web presence and equally as important to find a business partner to help support you. Having my web design team be conveniently located in San Diego is ideal for me. If you need a website, you should definitely consider CPD. read more

Scott just completed our website, and did an outstanding job! We are extremely happy with his work. We had a very specific design in mind, and Scott produced exactly what we wanted. He worked with us for several weeks, always promptly responding to our every request. I've worked with web design teams at a Fortune 100 company, and I would take Scott over that team any day. His rates are very reasonable. We couldn't be happier with Scott! read more

I contact this company I believe was Thursday. Mention they would contact me fast. I waited on Friday and no call, we start on Monday and still no call, so I call again and left message To call me back, which they did not do, so I call again and spoke to Rachel about conversion, she remembered, but what I did not get was a call back. She was on a meeting and I ask to talk to the owner, the simple thing here was to get me with the owner of the company and all would have been solve, but she was adamant about her meeting. Well Rachel and Co you are not worthy of my business. I don't recommend them. They don't know anything about customers relations. Don't waste your time. One star is one too many off this company. read more

Launching a new business is difficult, and finding trustworthy responsive partners as you turn your idea into a reality, can be overwhelming. That's why I was so thrilled to find Crown Point Design. They not only built me a wonderful, high functioning website, but also, patiently explained to me (not a super tech savvy person) how to make updates to it on my own. They came to my office (yes they are actually local) and gave me a tutorial. Most of the updates are easy, but when I do get stumped or need help, it's great to know that they are only a phone call away. I can see why they are highly recommended. read more

I wish I could give Crown Point Design more than 5 stars. We vetted several web designers before we selected Crown Point Design and we are so glad we selected them. We are thrilled with how our new website turned out. They listened carefully, made sense out of requirements that were unclear even to us, and gave us suggestions on how to optimize the website. They know the latest website design technology, for instance the value of responsive design, and how the website will automatically adjust on tablets and smartphone based on screen resolution. Turns out very important because 40% of out "hits" are from mobile devices. They also provided excellent training in WordPress as part of the package as we want to be able to do our own updates. And an added bonus they are here in San Diego (actually Pacific Beach) so we are able to meet face to face, which is helpful, particularly in the beginning as you are figuring out stuff.I strongly recommend Crown Point Design. read more

crown point design was hired by me (aloha yacht charters) last summer to host my web site and make a few small changes in the ad. we had a verbal agreement to trade their web site hosting for a sunset charter for them. i took them and their spouses for the sunset cruise at the appointed time. when they made the changes, they neglected to re direct the url to my google ads site, resulting in an ERROR 404 page. therefore, no one could contact me for a charter. i contacted them to have them fix the problem, several times, and they kept saying everything was ok. this error on their part, resulted in a major loss of revenue for me. it basically put me out of business. when i informed them to this effect, they just said too bad, we didnt have a written contract. and blew me off. they also lied to me when i called, saying they were busy and would call me back, when in reality, they were on the east coast of the u.s. doing something else, instead of taking care of business. i do not reccommend this business to anyone!! they must have written their own reviews! I started my own business about 12 months ago and needed to find a programer & designer to build our website. Since we were planning to sell our product exclusively online at first, we needed a beautiful website that would truly capture our customer. I turned to YELP to find someone local to San Diego and the 5 star reviews of CPD did not let me down! CPD was AMAZING from start to finish. They worked with our budget, were very clear with all costs, outlined different options, and stuck to the budget. They met every deadline (even finished some project early) and did a fabulous job training me how to use the site efficiently and maximize its capabilities to the fullest extent. Their team is super creative and comes up with excellent solutions. They are also very responsive and always get back to you right away with answers. Overall CPD design was simply fabulous to work with. They continue to provide hosting for us and general site maintenance and updates. I trust them completely and have been telling anyone I know who needs a website to call them. Such nice and personable business people and so so good at what they do!! Thank you CPD for the amazing website and continued customer service. We always get complements on our site and it is 100% bc of CPD :) www.GetBoobieBars.com read more
