Juan was responsive, answered my messages quickly, offered a fair price, and completed the project on schedule. At first, I was generally satisfied with the work. However, after the installation, I noticed a few imperfections. I chose not to complain because they were minor. Unfortunately, less than a year later, more serious issues have appeared. The concrete has started cracking and breaking in some areas, apparently because there wasn't proper drainage left for water coming from a gutter. The color has also faded much sooner than I expected. What has been most disappointing is the lack of customer service after the job was completed. I've reached out to Juan multiple times about these issues and have received no response. Based on my experience, I would rate the job about 7 out of 10. The initial communication and pricing were good, but the durability of the work and the lack of follow-up support have left me disappointed.

Alvin from Trout Masonry and Concrete came out right away. After talking about the job and what I wanted, I ended up with 3 different quotes from Alvin - the initial small project, and two extensions on it so that I could look at various price points for what I wanted. The quotes were very fair and, after talking with my wife, we went with the largest. This included removing an old, small patio and pouring a larger one as well as fixing some holes in our brick house. Alvin was great - he and his crew came out when they said they would. They kept the site clean. They took care determining the slope for water runoff and they poured a great looking deck. Afterwards, he cleaned up. Overall, a great experience and we couldn't be happier with the results.
