After a few exchanges of ideas, we found a perfect design for our backyard. Fast forward to last week the John and the Rainmaker crew started sculpting our backyard. By the end of the first day our ground was level and graded to perfection. Within a short period of time the backyard really came together. We had irrigation put in, established an area for a fire pit, planted privacy shrubs, sod laid and stones surrounding our shed and pool equipment. From start to finish the Rainmaker team made our backyard paradise a reality. They really took pride in their work and listened to any concerns we had. They kind of have this "we're the only game in town" air about them. They aren't big on customer service, and they tell YOU when they will be coming to service your stuff. Even with that, the few times I have used them, the tech they sent out was at least personable. The LAST dude they sent here was miserable. He knocked on the door, and when I opened it, he had an attitude about my fence being locked. (It's locked for this EXACT REASON: service people just open it and walk into my yard. I have 2 dogs that have gotten out TWICE before I added locks to the gates.) So, I unlock the gate and explain the situation to him. He drops a few F-bombs before getting to work. I go inside, and HAND TO GOD, MAYBE 10 minutes later, I look outside and he is gone! I literally thought he left to GET something, because there's no way he finished and left that quickly. So I go outside to check, and everything is unhooked, and yes, he is done and left. I check the controller module, and he left it on, and in the "run" position. Had I not checked, this thing would have been calling for the system to run all winter. The last tech turned it off and unplugged it, before putting the cable away. This dude just barely did anything, then pieced out, with the system still running zone 6. I was SO taken aback, I was like, "maybe they just decided to just leave, and not charge me." Nope. Like 3 days later, I get an invoice for $108 dollars. The ONLY reason I paid it is to have proof that they "winterized it," should the pipes freeze this winter and the system needs to be repaired. Since living here, I've learned that there ARE other lawn services, and I will 100% be utilizing them in the future. Never again for The Sprinkler Company. The only reason it isn't a 1 star is that the OTHER techs they sent the other times, were at least thorough.

I entered into a contract with this company to provide lawn treatment to me. My lawn has a good amount of random grasses and weeds. It looked passable but I wanted to see if Morgan's could help it look better. The first treatment began in April. As the summer went on, the lawn looked okay but I didn't see any significant change and I had just as much Nutsedge as I did before with the front lawn looking the worst. I was told that I had a lot of Kyllinga which supposedly is a problem grass/weed which seems to be everywhere in Toms River specifically Holiday City. Okay whatever. So I was then told about the options of seeding, etc. to really improve my lawn, blah blah blah. I made it abundantly clear that I was in no way interested in paying anymore money to try to improve the lawn. It is what it is and between the deer crap and the ant hills, it just wasn't worth it to me. As long as it was green and okay to look at, I didn't care what kind of grass it was. I was more annoyed at the nutsedge than anything else since it sticks up much further than the rest of the lawn. So now we're down to around the second week in August and I'm getting the last treatment before the final Fall one. I come home on August 21st from work and I find half of my front lawn is rust/orange in color and looked like someone put some kind of poison over my front lawn (see pics). I was horrified to say the least. I immediately contacted Morgans and asked what happened. I was told that that treatment was done to kill the Kyllinga which I never agreed to do. So now the arguing goes back and forth and this owner is by far one of the rudest people I've ever met. Total disrespect and disregard; no accountability. The end result.....they had to seed for free because I certainly wasn't paying for their screw up. You do that to someone's lawn without their knowledge so you can force them into paying for additional services, seeding, etc.? Had I been told that that treatment was going to do that to my lawn, I would have said forget it!!!!!!! Now I have the worst looking lawn on the block. In addition, when they came to do the freebie for me, they cracked one of my sprinkler pipes. Great, now I have to deal with this guy again. I took a video, sent it to him and asked him how he wanted to proceed. Lucky for him, he sent someone that Monday to fix it. All in all, I spent almost $400 for a lawn that looks like the last two pics I'm going to post which I took a few minutes ago.
