The gas was priced a bit lower than the rest of the gas stations and pit stops that we encountered. Inside, the gas station was of course pristine, well managed and fully stocked with drinks & snacks. The counter service was congenial, polite and added to a great day in my Yelp opinion. The pumps were easily manageable, even to other trucks that stopped here and were clean and most importantly not coned or fenced off. We bellied up to the counter and for about roughly the same amount of money as you'd spend on a gently used Cadillac I was the proud owner of my licenses, which, coincidentally, I was asked to show a grand total of zero times over the course of my trip. Oh, the price of being a law-abiding citizen. There's lots of food and snackies here. Gas pumps, cold bevvies, and so on. A little light on the horrible gas station prepared foods, but more than made up for by all the doohickeys for sale all over the place. What a sweet shop for the locals and the travelers. It has a country store vibe. The ladies were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting outside to eat the pizza we purchased. And we look forward to eating the cheesecake later. The gas was the best priced around which was a bonus. The only drawback was that the internet was down so it was cash only.
